We had a great time on board Radiance of the Seas for 11 nights to the South Pacific islands. We found all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful especially our main dining room staff Veron & Chao.
Our room was 7090 mid ship balcony, it was a squeeze for a family of 4 however once we unpacked we managed to find plenty of space in the draws so it didn’t feel too bad in the end. Room was ...
Chose this cruise line due to the port it was scheduled to visit. South pacific has always being my main destination, and it was great to be on board a vessel which was well kept, clean, in places immaculate and very attractive.
At Sydney harbour, the checking in was smooth, very friendly staff, directing to the various counters and directing very sensibly. Luggages taken quickly at the arrival ...
This was our first cross ocean repositioning cruise. The opportunity to visit Sydney/New Zealand again, see French Polynesia for the 1st time and wind up in Honolulu was the attraction overcoming the twelve sea days. Had prepared for stormy weather in New Zealand, but were surprised by the rainy, windy weather most of the way to Tahiti. Sea days from Bora Bora to Hawaii were sunny and warm ...
We like the Radiance and got a suitable deal. We have been to the islands many times so the ship was the attraction rather than the destinations. The weather was mixed and this was given as the reason for the slow tendering processes, although it seemed that too few tenders were being operated.
The ship is still in good shape and lifts operated well. The decorations for the festive season were ...
I chose this cruise for the deal & the opportunity to revisit the South Is & the Fjords which are amazing, the weather was perfect, raining enough for the waterfalls to be running & the weather cleared as the ship entered the Sounds.
Embarkation was a breeze, 1pm & straight onto the ship in 15 mins, disembarkation was a bit slower but easy enough, off the ship by 0830 after a hearty breakfast ...
We enjoy being away at this time of year. This is our favourite ship as it is not too big. The crew are very friendly and helpful. This ship is showing signs of ageing but this does not take away from the experience. We met some lovely people and really there was nothing to complain about. We did not have a meal in the mdr we did not like. As neither of us walk very well we were taken on ...
We spent one week in Waikiki before our cruise back to Australia. We had a great time. Boarding the ship was super easy. Never been easier in fact. I’m a celiac so I was worried about my food choices but the dining room team looked after me. I don’t think there were as many choices in the windjammers. Coffee has improved a little. Room attendant was amazing as always. I don’t think there was ...
We flew from Newark NJ to Honolulu on United. We were in First Class and had the lie down flat seats. They were the most comfortable seats I have ever experienced! Crew was really nice!
Speedi Shuttle not a good company. They are rude, disorganized.
Hawaiian Hilton Village. We loved this hotel, and returned for our post cruise! Perfect location... but be prepared for high ...
Overall this was a good Cruise. Some adjustments need to made by Royal Caribbean to enhance the Cruising of future patrons.
1. Bands were in the Centrum. This was somewhat disappointing, no area to Dance & not enough seating. Should have been in the Colony Club, where there was plenty of seating & a large dance floor. It remained empty on most nights.
2.The Dog House was a waste of space. ...
We chose this cruise as a way to get to Australia in a relaxing way without jet lag. This was our 7th cruise and 5th with RCL. We enjoyed the cruise but did find both stretches of 5 sea days a little challenging. The staff were excellent Raj and Mohammed in Windstar outstanding, also our stateroom attendant Eko. We ate in Chops Grille once, not the best service but steaks were good. Giovanni’s ...
