Cabin 2016
Apr 2017
Cabin was very disappointing. Porthole for a window. 2nd level elevator lobby was always very cold. You feel like your not part of the ship. Storage was adequate. Bathroom was small but functional. A lot of bad smells at times in the bathroom.

Great stateroom. It was quiet and it was very stable even when the upper parts of the ship were shaking.

Cabin Floor 3

Shower room smelt mouldy we had to ask to change the shower curtain. Can the staff ask if you want the towel art. Not everyone wants their personal possessions used on the nightly art installations

Our Room was on the 3rd Floor, starboard side about a third of the way back. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. Very little motion felt. The large porthole stayed very water spotted the whole trip so visibility was not great. Not sure if there was any way it could be better since there was rain everyday. We could look right out on dock when in port so kept curtains closed. Several ladies on our floor hung their lingerie to dry in the porthole and closed the curtains so they couldn't see it. Unfortunately everyone walking on or off the ship could. Mild odor in bathroom. We bought spray to cover it. Plenty of storage. There were little cubbies everywhere. All our luggage fit under the bed although we were lucky that our large bag could be opened in half to fit. Our friends suitcase was too tall to go under the bed but there was plenty of closet room for it. Only one double outlet in entire room and it abutted the desktop which made it hard to plug big things in. The medicine cabinet and shelf under sink held everything and nothing slid around. There was a mini fridge but it was filled with snacks for sale and not turned on. We had hoped to chill our wine in it. It didn't smell very good.

I have to laugh at this description because this room was anything but "large." We had to take turns walking in what little space we had. One suitcase had to stay out the whole time we were onboard. The bed was comfortable, however. It was basic, and we didn't spend that much time in the room.

Great Cruise By:
We stayed on deck two and had a small porthole for a window. This was desired because there is little motion the lower you are in the boat. Believe it or not one night you could still feel the ship rocking a bit! But the room was big and very satisfied with the decor and the cabin staff.

Cabin 3616
Jun 2015
Northbound to Alaska By: sailingwithfriends
Cabin had a lot of storage. There are shelves on both sides of the mirror above the desk where you can hid your stuff. There is also a shelf behind a mirror in the bathroom. There is a full-length mirror. Bed was not comfortable to either my husband or myself. (However, another couple on deck 8 said their bed was great.) The pillows were very flat. Linens were nice and comfortable. There is a full-sized sofa and a flat-screen tv. There is room in the mini-frig for a couple of our personal water bottles. On the two days we were traveling at a faster speed, this cabin squeaked. It actually kept us awake most of the night. On the days we traveled slowly, there was no problem. Twice we were awakened at 4:00 AM with noises above. This would have been the dining room. I'm sure you have read about the horrible showers. I did find that pointing the shower head towards the back corner helped keep the water inside the shower, rather than the bathroom floor. We had a good cabin steward. He kept our room very clean. We had towel animals on 3 occasions (not necessary, but cute). Our steward never addressed us by name, but he was very friendly when we passed him in hallway.

Pre-Christmas Gift By: EbbCruiser
4560 Ocean View - Right at the Centrum Lobby and Guest Services. VERY close to the main dining room. The room still remained quiet. We had one bathroom issue with the shower drain and one where the toilet wouldn't flush. Both issues were fixed quickly.

Cabin 3638

Little traffic outside our cabin made it super quiet! Shower is small - vinyl curtain - not nice but bathroom was an ok size. Lots of closet/drawer space. TV had Turner Classic Movies, TNT & E networks plus several ESPN's and all the networks seemed to provide taped shows - not "live" real tv as there were very few commercials and lots of movies repeated over & over. Beds were nice, lighting was good too.
