The worst cabin to book on this ship. So much noise from a 24/7 fan. I tried to get my room changed but they did nothing about it. Everything in the room vibrated. After 3 days we got use to it though. Read entire member review >>
The bed was firm enough but a little short. I'm only 6-foot tall but my feet hung off the edge. I appreciated the couch, the built-in night light, and the well thought out bathroom. The room attendant was super, always keeping our ice bucket filled and clean wine glasses at the ready without having to be asked. Read entire member review >>
Our selected interior cabin on Deck 9, we thought was well situated and very quiet with cabins above and below, although there was the occasional knocking coming from a cupboard behind the toilet. I myself think I would prefer to have at least a window next time because I did feel quite claustrophobic at times though my friend was quite happy with it.
Our cabin is advertised for 4 people with 2 bunks flush with the ceiling, out of sight which would be pulled down at night. I think there would be less room and problems with the King set up rather than twin beds which we had if there were 4 people. Although small, there was plenty of room for the period of times we were in there. The cabin had plenty storage as there were only 2 of us. The bathroom was small and I had a few altercations with the shower curtain on occasions. The small fridge wouldn't get cold at all, even though we removed the contents to put our own few things in. It was more like an esky. Our cabin assistant Darwin though very busy and attentive to all his cabins was the funniest person and accommodated us with our requests, especially ice. Air conditioning worked fine and we were able to control it to a comfortable temperature Read entire member review >>
Excellent position up the front of the ship. Port Side end of corridor. I liked the position as its away from lifts and through traffic i.e. less passenger noise. Cabin was clean plenty of cupboard space. There is a hair drier, plenty of sockets for use with adaptors (US onboard fyi). Bathroom is situated near front door, easy access, please watch the step so you dont trip through the night. Has a shower curtain as opposed to glass panel. Good position for getting to the gym and park cafe. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was adequate, but not immaculately clean. We often didn't have any cold water late afternoon so showering was impossible (as was flushing the toilet). Frequent unpleasant odours coming up from the shower drain. Steward service was terrible to start with, adequate overall but unimpressive and we had to ask several times for the same request. Was much bigger and more luxurious than we were expecting.
The staff that cleaned it was always friendly and the room was always spotless.
We were disappointed with the television channels as there were no film channels and the other channels either repeated or weren't available. I know we weren't in the cabins much but when we retired to bed it would have been nice to relax with a film etc. Read entire member review >>
Forward location under the Aurora Theater - may be a noise issue if you are early-to-bed. We liked the full curtains that could be used to separate the bed from the rest of the cabin. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 4551 was very close to the main Centrum which was where a lot of the entertainment happened, also close to the Guest Relations desk. It was still very quiet considering and only on 1 occasion was I awoken from noise at 11pm in the Centrum. The room is perfectly fine with lots of storage (just enough room for 4, would be plenty for 2) As a room for 2 it is very generous, as a room for 4 it was tight, but not uncomfortably so. My only negative is that the two pullman beds (a single that comes down from the ceiling) made the 'double' bed too uncomfortable, the only way to get in/out of the double was to crawl down the middle, so after one night we asked for the double to be split into 2 singles which gave us so much more room. We moved the little coffee table into the wardrobe to also give a little extra room. Being an interior it was lovely and dark at any time so daytime naps were easy. Bathroom was clean and ample space for 1 person at a time, just had to be careful when showering that water didn't go everywhere. Read entire member review >>
We were in 4561 which was right beside guest services and cascades dining room. It was also close to the piano duet who played till around 11pm but it really did not disturb us and there was very little other noise from guests etc. We slept well. For an inside cabin there was plenty of storage space and the room attendant was first class Read entire member review >>
Great size. Easy to get a wheel chair or scooter around in. Closet space was fine for 3 people for 7 days, but was tight for us as we had back to back cruises and had packed for 2 weeks. Beds had very good mattresses but beds were narrow. The pull down berth had a thin mattress and 14 year old grandson complained every night. Room was in a great location near elevators and was quit which was a surprise being we were directly under a public bathroom next to the theater. Read entire member review >>
