Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

we were in cabin 1588 on tenth deck. The Radiance has been done over and everything is so new in the cabins. The Embarkation was really bad but no fault to the crew. Disembarkation in Vancouver was horrible. Trying to get 2000 people upstairs using one elevator People coming on to the ship were coming down same elevator. There should have been security around to help with crowd control. But ...

Changes to My Time Dining were frustrating.

Terrific cruise to Hawaii. Embarkation was easy because we walked to the port. We heard there were problems with taxis. But we were able to get on board in less than an hour. My time dining was broken for most of the cruise. They now require a "golden ticket" to enter the dining room.some people received the tickets and most did not. This created a chaotic scene each evening. The house keeping ...

Great cruise - Strong points are the ship amenities, the specialty restaurants (Steakhouse, Chef's Table, Samba Grill), My first experience in a Junior Suite, well worth it in Alaska! The vast majority of this cruise was outstanding - i would recommend traveling this itinerary on this ship to anyone. I hope to have the opportunity to cruise the Radiance again (maybe in Australia?) - Areas ...

This was a wonderful cruise. The scenery was spectacular, breathtaking, awesome. The weather was great every day. We saw seals, salmon and whales (well whale spouts) We met the most wonderful people on this cruise. loved the itinerary. Alaska, a must see. About the ship. It was smaller than most of the other RCCL ships we've cruised on and honestly I missed the promenade deck. The shower ...

Amazing Journey with Radiance of the Seas

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed every minute of our trip. Before this cruise, we had an exhausted week long trip in Alaska already (including Fairbanks, a Haul Road journey up to MP270, Denali NP, Russian River, Exit Glacier, Kenai Fjord NP and Anchorage). Alaska is truly a bucketlist destination for a life time. Embarkation: On the Embarkation day, we woke up early ...

A number 1 bucket list item is a cruise to Alaska. Great ship, great crew and a great place to visit. Sights you will never forget. Mountains, ice blue glaciers and rain clouds. Whales and otters right along side the ship, Eagles almost every where. Bring a rain coat as it rains a lot but that's Alaska. The Radiance of the Seas is top class ship and the crew work like they want to ...

Our family (two adults, two teens) just completed a weeklong sail on the Radiance from Vancouver to Seward. Overall we loved the ship, the crew, and the itinerary. Nits were mostly minor. Dining room food was good, service was fantastic, and the on-board activities were plentiful for all of us. Jamie Fentiman, the cruise director, should probably host a late night talk show, he made a lot of ...

Alaska is a must see for everyone's bucket list

This was our third trip on this ship to Alaska, three years in a row. You cannot see all you want to see in one cruise. Embarking in Vancouver was simple and quick. We had flown in the day before and stayed at the Pan Pacific. Everyone was friendly and helpful when we needed help. Spent most of our time in the Centrum bar area, they had entertainment and singers, the disco party is a lot ...

Trip of a lifetime that did not disappoint!

This was the first Alaskan Cruise for our family of 6 adults, and the first overall cruise for 3/6. We stayed in Vancouver at the Pan Pacific, which was a perfect location for boarding the ship. We had a very smooth embarkation, and were on the ship within minutes! All our staterooms were well-maintained (9636, 9508, and 1532 - Grand Suite). The cruise itself was beautiful! I've read other reviews ...

This was our first cruise, and I was quite nervous. But we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ship, the variety of activities (for a smaller ship) and especially the service. I'd heard Royal's service was the best, and I was not disappointed. (We took the train from Seward, which was quite scenic but also extremely long. The bartender/tour guide was great, and the food was really ...
