Great Service, poor decision making.

Went on this cruise for my late honeymoon with my wife. Service and staff was generally amazing, the team keeping the ship clean and serving the food in the Brittania restaurant were top notch. Afternoon tea was wonderful we went almost every day, and the gala nights were really nice. It's wonderful to still have cruise lines that keep things classy. The food that we got was great and tasted ...

Chose this cruise as it was a food cruise, didn’t realise when we booked that all the chefs dinners were going to be at large extra cost. Hence we didn’t do any as exchange rate Australian dollar to US $ is very poor. Have sailed on this boat prior to Covid and have no memories of anything to complain about. It seems they either can’t get staff or are just trying to save money. Took 20 minutes or ...

Boarding was seamless and the ship was in excellent condition for wear and tear and cleanliness Our cabin was immaculate, however we experienced poor sleep due to hard beds and pillows and the shower was the smallest I have ever experienced on a cruise ship. The games deck was the best I have seen for senior passengers but not so for young passengers. The taste of the water was ...

We have never been on Cunard and it had a lot of hype as to the quality so decided to try them on a five night culinary cruise from Sydney. We have dome many cruises so perhaps our expectations were too high. The boarding process was good and seamless. We were in Our Voyage number :Q305 FROM Jan 28th untill Feb 2nd Veranda Room. The room was disappointing the shower floor was delaminating ...

To say that we were disappointed with this cruise is an understatement. We are loyal Cunard cruisers, having completed 14 other cruises on Cunard ships, including QE2, Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. We are huge fans of the brand and would always rave about everything in relation to the ship, ship facilities, crew, service. They were the epitome of luxury. First the good. ...

I chose this cruise to spend Christmas day in Milford Sound in New Zealand. It was to be the highlight and is a long held bucket list item, as well as an amazing opportunity for wildlife photography. I had an excursion booked for that purpose (several over the course of the cruise). Instead, they hadn't had the ship hull cleaned in order to pass the strict environmental standards of Customs NZ. ...

As a Diamond member we love the formality of the Cunard line and the Ballroom so we booked the around Australia cruise in November and also the Around New Zealand cruise in January 2023 Had i know the serves level had fallen so low I would not have booked these cruises the menu has been cut back drastically and the untrained staff leaves a lot to desire. I understand that after Covid they ...

Booked this on board QM2 when the QE's Asian itineraries were all scrapped. Crazy cheap price made this unmissable. Compared to the QM2 this is the inferior ship in almost every single area. The vaunted decoration of the ship looked a bit tacky, a bit Vegas casino, the public rooms felt cramped and crowded. You can't walk to the front of the ship, the gym seems tired. What most surprised ...

Cunard Cruising In A Nutshell

Those paying an ultra-premium price in Queens/Princess Grill will receive high quality dining and service in their private part of the ship. The rest(majority) of us will receive an experience far inferior to lines competing in this price tier(Celebrity,HAL,Princess). This Q. Elizabeth cruise displayed cost-cutting everywhere...even the limited floral displays were tiny! Quality and quantity of ...

Husbands special birthday and cunard was always on his bucket list. First 5 days food was rubbish, dry and not as described on menu. The Lido was no better Bar prices out of this world. Buy a drinks package, coffees, soft drinks or alcohol, they don't tell you in the book that you have to buy one for every one in your cabin ! What to wear in dining room, non gala evenings. Book says ...
