Second cruise on Cunard Queen Elizabeth Barcelona to Melbourne

This is my second Queen Elizabeth review. Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise. Service - impeccable everywhere. Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...

This trip was an opportunity that came up and though it wasn't an 'ocean liner' I was very excited to experience a luxury cruise line. As a solo woman traveler who loves to dance, the knowledge of their dance hosts had me polishing up my dance shoes. Embarkation was short and painless. Though I had been scheduled for a 3:30 embarkation, I was nervous that would be too late to get settled prior ...

Fabulous Art Deco Experience

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

For my first ever cruise I wanted it to be an unforgettable experience on what I thought of as a "classic" ship, ie one with a black hull, white decks & red funnels. Which is why I ended up booking my maiden voyage on a Cunard ship! From the outset we were very impressed: the Art Deco interior appealed to us greatly, as did the attentive service and friendly staff. Not knowing whether I'd ...

Though Cunard are not the cheapest, the whole experience was slick and smooth. We booked a Britannia balcony cabin, with coach transfer as part of the deal. Excellent coach to Southampton with two stops on the way. Arrived on time and in cabin within 30mins. We chose earlyt dining (6.30pm) on table of 8 and had good company - we moved round the table as the cruise progressed. Formal dress ...

Great Experience

This was our sixth cruise on Cunard, but the first time we tried the Princess Grill category. We had the promotion that offered pre-paid gratuities, $800 on board spending money, and free drinks (under $12). When you deduct the value of these benefits from the price of a P1 category cabin, it wasn't all that much more than a regular balcony cabin For some reason, this category on this cruise was ...

Superb Princess Grill Experience on the Queen of Brown

Thoroughly delightful! Our second cruise (and for me, my 11th Cunard cruise/crossing since 1977) in QUEEN ELIZABETH numbers among the very best… in all departments and for all good reasons. This was our first Princess Grill experience in QE having enjoyed the Grills in QE2 and QM2 and I’d have to rate it the best (even more than QM2 Queens Grill) in service, cuisine and especially the “ship ...

Friends have travelled on Cunard ships and recommended them, also sailing from Southampton fitted in with our life. Have cruised before on two P&O ships so know the routine. Firstly check in was so easy, eating lunch just after 1pm, everything was so smooth. Cabin was on deck 4 aft, lovely and spacious and quiet (even though many people told us midships is the best) have found no difference in ...

A wonderful experience

The Itinerary appealed to us. The voyage was memorable for many reasons. The food and entertainment were excellent, and we loved the decor and atmosphere on board. The crew, stewards and waiters were unfailingly helpful and the Pursers desk provided very good service. Our stateroom was well set-out and the facilities there were good. We only took one tour, through Athens, but found the information ...

Absolute thrill to spend 3 days on-bard the Queen Elizabeth from Sydney - Brisbane. Fabulous food, beautiful state-room. Stunning, commisioned works of art. Incredible/wonderful décor and design. Loved the Art deco style evidenced throughout the ship. A truly unforgettable experience. I walked the passageways for the three days transfixed by the surroundings. Every turn produced something ...

After travelling on the many cruise lines, celebrity x 13 cruises and P O for 12 cruises......Royal Caribbean x 5, Princess, NCL and MSC.....we now prefer Cunard, excellent around except the price of the drinks.... Really lovely team onboard and lovely passengers made the experience even more charming. The Internal Decor is the style to suite Cunard, and the Brand. The dining experience ...
