As this cruise was leaving from MELBOURNE and was a special event for us we thought CUNARD would be worth cruising with as have never cruised with them before. it did not disappoint, everything from entertainment, food, cleanliness of rooms was wonderful. and would like to give a big shout out to Jonash who kept our room immaculate. Food was exceptional, whether dining room or on 9th floor for ...

Our first time back on Cunard since pre COVID but have done many Princess and Holland america cruises. Both HAL and Princess have cutback on so many things and added extra charges for many things that were once free . The Royal class Princess ships are like travelling in a Westfield mall with most bars speciality restaurants and lounges opening off the main atrium which hold aerobics and ...

A Most Enjoyable Cruise

This was our second cruise on QE, a five-day voyage from Melbourne to Hobart (with an overnight stay) and return to Melbourne. Our previous cruise was in March 2023, a repositioning voyage from Melbourne to Singapore. Although the repositioning cruise was most enjoyable, there were some service issues resulting from staff shortages. Happily, the Hobart cruise did exceed all our ...

Overall a superior experience to that of multiple other cruise lines (P&O Princess Pacific Celebrity). Excellent customer service. Free room service (food). Food generally of excellent quality. Steaks at The Verandah restaurant to die for. Pizza at Lido average. Older crowd. Very few children. Dress code but with casual dining options as well. Formal Gala nights. Bed and pillows are divine. ...

We wanted to celebrate our 30th in style so we chose Cunard. They did not disappoint. Great service , sparkly rooms ,lots of activities, fabulous food and free laundry. We loved our Balcony Room and we enjoyed the televised lectures and entertainment. Staff were great to chat to not robots. Spa was great . Internet - new Starlink was well worth the basic price. FB , emails and some videos ...

LA to Ft. Lauderdale via the Panama Canal

The itinerary seemed both exciting and romantic. Plus, there was no overseas travel involved for us (from Chicago). We were also looking to sail on the Queen Elizabeth. An unexpected bonus was successfully bidding on a Princess Grills cabin. Everything came together even better than we had hoped. We loved the QE and being in the Grills for 14 days was just amazing. The value is clearly there. The ...

Exceeded expectations

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

We had been contemplating the idea of an Alaska cruise and when family friends invited us along on their Cunard Queen Elizabeth trip we were in (anything to escape the heat of TX in July & August). The Cunard website leaves much to be desired in terms of ease of navigation but we managed. Embarkation was smooth and hassle-free...we actually arrived about 1.5 hours earlier than our stated time at ...

Outstanding Vacation on QE

QE was a beautiful ship; we really enjoyed the decor and accessibility of the ship. Although the sailing was booked full, it rarely felt there were too many people (i.e. breakfast in the Lido is a bit crazy). This ship is definitely for mature types since the crowd and actively level is more subdued than other lines. You can't say that about the ballroom! The dance floor was packed, and ...

Flawless from being to end

The flight from Boston booked thru Cunard transfers to Vancouver Hotel Blu were perfect. (Two nights) Cunard then transferred us to the ship terminal and help with luggage. Princess Grill Suite for 10 nights was everything we hoped for. Post trip excursion by Cunard to Vancouver and Grouise Mountain then drop off at airport was ideal. We choose Cunard for the Britishness and we're not ...
