Second cruise on Cunard Queen Elizabeth Barcelona to Melbourne

This is my second Queen Elizabeth review. Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise. Service - impeccable everywhere. Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...

We choose to do a back to back (this was the first leg of the trip) on the Queen Elizabeth having previously (pre-pandemic) traveled on the Queen Mary on a transatlantic. We were a bit hesitant given the wonderful time we had on the Queen Mary, trying to manage expectations etc., but we were totally and completely overjoyed with the Queen Elizabeth. Cabin: Penthouse Queens Grill....spacious ...

I had an extended balcony Britannia room midship on L6. The room was tight but sufficient. There was a small desk, 2 bedside drawers, wardrobe space, under the bed storage, a small fridge, small kettle, with tea and coffee sachets and little packets of biscuits every day, and small chocolates in the evening. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne. Room was serviced twice day. The ...

Japan for Sakura or Cherry Blossom

Review for a Asia Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

" Slow boat " to Japan for the Sakura or Cherry Blossom, and a bit of sightseeing, fine dining and some dancing in between, that was the idea and why not, take 19 nights instead of 9 hours fly direct. It is the journey that matters and something to reminisce in future. See photos. In Nov 2017, we travelled the shinkansen or bullet train around Japan for the autumn foliage and kind of felled in ...

Absolute thrill to spend 3 days on-bard the Queen Elizabeth from Sydney - Brisbane. Fabulous food, beautiful state-room. Stunning, commisioned works of art. Incredible/wonderful décor and design. Loved the Art deco style evidenced throughout the ship. A truly unforgettable experience. I walked the passageways for the three days transfixed by the surroundings. Every turn produced something ...

Trip of a Lifetime

We chose this cruise due to the ports served. Originally planned to go with Oceania but I did not like the reviews. Cunard did not gouge us on Visas for example. Oceania charged $150 for Vietnam visas Cunard only $30. We upgraded to Princess and that made a big difference. The Princess Grill was the best run dining room that I have ever seen. If you take a cruise on this ship it is worth the extra ...

Super Cruise but Unsatisfactory City Stay in Cape Town.

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

Chose this cruise across the Indian Ocean as it visited lots of places that we had not seen before. Also, it was in the sunshine! Great cruise, super service and everything was spot on. The food quality was OK but not 'special' as we expected from a premium cruise line. The amounts on the plate were quite modest but that was OK with us as we are not big people. However, the price of drinks was a ...

We enjoyed the 13-night, Brisbane to Kobe leg of Queen Elizabeth's 2017 world cruise. Embarkation at Brisbane's temporary international cruise terminal at Fisherman Island was smooth and we were quickly in our balcony cabin 6030. The cabin was quiet and comfortable although we initially found the air-conditioning to be cold and drafty even at the highest temperature setting, but after being ...

We booked this cruise to celebrate a 40th birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary for myself, husband and our 3 year old son. We loved the refined, elegant, beautiful decor, the attentive and friendly crew and the food was excellent. I have to commend Cunard for their recruitment process because the crew were all wonderful. Our cabin steward, Maribeth, in Princess Grill Suites was fantastic ...

We sailed from San Francisco (February 4, 2017), with final destination in Sydney. It sure beat having to fly from Orlando, to Sydney. There were stops in Oahu, Maui, Western Samoa, Tonga, Auckland, and Bay of Islands. I highly recommend this ship; the best way to some up the ship, would be elegant. Karen (Activities Staff) made the time fly by and extremely fun!! My wife and I are Elite Plus with ...
