"We tried Azamara last year and the MDR dinners were awful, so we were gun shy of trying another different cruise line when the food experience on Cunard had been so good in the past.Cunard did not have their act together for embarkation (Vancouver) so if you are traveling with someone who needs some assistance, it might be good to scout ahead and then come back so as to limit any potential extra walking by getting the wrong information on where to go...."Read More

1-10 of 140 Cunard Queen Elizabeth Cruises for the Disabled Reviews
Im keen to try all the great cruise lines if possible and this Cunard ship was sailing out of Australia and returning to the same port at a time that suited our needs so seemed like the perfect choice for a nice holiday break. Check in was simple and quick, and we were allowed to go straight to our cabin once aboard which was fantastic. Ship is very smart, looks like a stately home of Art Deco ...
I travelled from Melbourne with my Mother on a 5 night cruise to Hobart, Tasmania. We really enjoyed our time on board this cruise. Cunard's Queen Elizabeth is in very good condition and is a beautiful, well appointed ship.
Embarkation was exceptionally smooth and I think we were onboard in less than 15 minutes.
We had originally booked a Brittannia Club Stateroom on Deck 8, but I bid for ...
My wife and I just did a week long round trip from Barcelona. After our NCL cruise in August it was night and day. were all well organized.
Embarkation was the easiest we ever did. From arrival top being in our cabin was 13 minutes. Staff very pleasant. Room was clean and organized. We had service twice a day( a lesson for some other cruise lines). Our attendant was tops and pro active without ...
We lived in San Francisco 50 years ago and wanted to combine a nostalgic stay there with a leisurely cruise back to England via the Panama Canal and Atlantic crossing. Oddly we were unable to board in SF and had to fly to LA whilst we met passengers on board who had had to do the reverse! Cunard or Imagine Cruising to blame? Who knows.
As regular Celebrity cruisers we were a little anxious ...
Queen Elizabeth is a lovely, well-maintained ship with a nod to the Art Deco style reminiscent of the great ocean liners of the 30's and 40's.
Since food and dining options are a major consideration for us on a cruise, my comments will mainly be about the dining experience.
BRITANNIA DINING ROOM - The food in the main dining room was average; similar to the type of food you would expect to ...
We recently took the July 17, 2023 10 night Alaskan cruise on QUEEN ELIZABETH. Overall, it was a great trip with only a few shortcomings.
Check-in
As Platinum members with Cunard we were able to do priority check-in….but priority check-in doesn’t mean priority boarding. Yes, we whisked through check-in in a matter of minutes, but then we had to sit in a waiting area and wait to board. We sat ...
We chose this cruise because we had sailed on Cunard twice (before Covid) for a total of 29 nights and the Main Dining Room (MDR) at dinner was almost always exceptional and the two times it was not, it was made right by ordering something else, so we had zero complaints.
We tried Azamara last year and the MDR dinners were awful, so we were gun shy of trying another different cruise line ...
The weather was terrible. Not Cunard's fault, just that weather in this part of Alaska can be rainy and foggy. Most of the sea days were rainy and foggy. Could barely see Hubbard Glacier for the fog. Glacier Bay was rainy.
The ship itself was wonderful. The only time it seemed crowded was tea time, get there 30 minutes before or wait till 30 minutes after the start time.
My wife ...
Timing was good, with less children onboard and some friends employed by Cunard, and their recommendation. We found dress the opposite of previous reviews, jeans, shorts and T shirts seemed to be allowed everywhere, including restaurants and theatre in the evening.
The Embarkation in Vancouver was totally unsatisfactory, in total chaos. There was absolutely no co-ordination of anything or ...
I always choose Cunard for their high standards of service and overall relaxing and quality experience. This one, a trip from Vancouver to Alaska generally followed that trend. There were a few things that we particularly loved and some that were not quite up to scratch...
The headline guest for the first few days was Bear Grylls-well what a disappointment. He did a couple of presentations ...
