As indicated in the review, this had an unusual shape. With it being longer on one side than the other, the balcony door and window were on a sharp angle. The added space could have held another small sofa or a large chair but was left empty. Otherwise it was a standard cabin with a king-sized bed, small sofa, desk and a small but adequate toilet, sink and shower room. Read Less

Our cabin was 8129 which falls into category “BC”. It is an irregular sized room because it is at the juncture where the ship has a bubble (there are several areas where the ship juts out). Consequently, the cabin is a bit irregular in size which gives it fractionally more space than other BC cabins. It also meant that the balcony is a little larger as well as it is on an angle. One downside to that angle is the wind. When the ship is in motion, we seemed to get a lot of wind on our balcony. In the summer it would be great but in October, it often made it chilly to sit out and read. The bathroom was a good size and fairly consistent in size with those found on ships associated with other cruise lines (perhaps even fractionally larger). Read Less

Our cabin on was kept spotlessly clean by our steward. We appreciated the 2-seater settee, although it was somewhat old and needs replacing. The only other aspect of the cabin that we did not like was the wardrobe arrangement. Princess ships have an open wardrobe that provides great access to clothes. The one on Cunard was a standard wardrobe next to the bathroom - resulting in much congestion at shower/dressing time. Read Less

Lots of wardrobe space, comfortable bed, everything worked and looked in good order. No umbrella or 'on board bag' which a lot of cruise lines provide. The only problem was a whistling balcony door when very windy.

Good enough - very good STATEROOM manager - but why no tea and coffee to prepare ourselves. Also, no shaver adaptor which I had to persist on providing free via the Purser's desk.

Cannot remember cabin number but it was on the fourth deck balcony unobstructed. It was smaller than I thought. We where near the lifts. Think it was B something. The lady that did our room was ok, not good English and not very helpful. Again she said that they had just end worked 6 months and around 14 hours a day! This I am sorry to say was not my fault and still expected 5 star, which they claim. Read Less
