This is the second time taking this cruise. The first time was on the Ruby's sister ship, Crown Princess. These ships carry a little over 3000 passengers and I suspect the Ruby was full. Our flights from home took most of the day and we didn't reach the ship until 11:30pm. Due to airline issues, we arrived in Quebec City a day late (Princess was in port over night), but when we arrived the second day, we were hustled through embarkation very quickly. This was a great way to start our association with Princess. If you get a chance to go to Saguenay on your northeastern cruise, do it. Having cruised with several other cruiselines (Oceania, Celebrity, HAL, NCL, MSC) we like to rate a new experience against them. I highly recommend taking a Canadian cruise in October - the weather is refreshing and the colors fantastic! The Ruby Princess served us well. We enjoyed the spread of food and the Canadian ports.
