Wanted to experience Fall Foliage without the driving so narrowed the cruise options between Pearl Seas and Seaborne. We made a mistake. Even though Pearl Seas is priced at the very upper end, the quality of the cruise experience is well below acceptable standards for a premium experience.

We wanted to view fall colors from a high quality small ship. Overall t was a good cruise, but it could have been much better. The reservation process was very poor since we were led to believe there were few cabins remaining when we booked only to find out the ship was only 2/3 full. Others experienced the same reservation process.

The ship was not elegant at all. For the price, we expected much better. It was clean, and comfortable (except for too many chairs in the event rooms), but very ordinary looking.
