We chose this cruise based on the destination and the advertising. The destination was perfect. The advertising was a lie.
We were told the ship would be at a berth totally different from where, after one hour of research, we finally found the ship.
We were not welcomed on board except by one surely individual who demanded we surrender our passports. That's it. No one to assist or direct ...
I prefer to cruise rivers in the USA. This cruise was the St. Lawrence Seaway in Canada, and the eastern coast of the US. The cruise was outstanding! The ports of call were very unique, beautiful, and very accommodating.
Cruising on a smaller ship is so preferable to larger ships. First of all, smaller ports are accessible and beautiful. The towns are not overwhelmed by the number of ...
My wife and I had always wanted to go to New England and see the fall colors. This cruise was suggested to us by some friends with whom we have traveled many times over the years. When we looked the trip up on line we discovered that the price was very high, and so just assumed that this must be a luxury cruise, which appealed to us. Our mistake. Next time we will certainly do more research ...
We chose it because we had never been on an expensive luxury cruise before and wanted to treat ourselves. We liked that we could relax and be served at each meal and not have to deal with buffet lines. I was picturing outstanding gourmet meals in a lovely dining room with creative menus and desserts. Instead what we got at each meal was diner food. For instance when offered a seafood salad ...
My husband and I chose this cruise as we had previously toured the area in the late 1990's via two road trips and decided that we'd enjoy viewing it again from the water with fall foliage in its prime. Unfortunately Hurricane Michael decided to disappoint us with rough seas and rain through out our cruise, causing us to miss 3 of the 9 ports (Baie-Comeau, Halifax, & Bar Harbor) on our scheduled ...
Embarkation - Sunday September 30th
We flew to Quebec City airport on Sunday September 30th and took a taxi to the QM-2. Embarkation was quick and easy as only a portion of the passengers were embarking/disembarking at this port.
After we boarded, crew members guided us through the Grand Lobby to the elevators that took us to deck 10 and we found our cabin easily. As a testimony to the ...
All expectations met on our recent 14 day sailing from Quebec City to FLORIDA. Enjoyed perfect weather, perfect service, amazing food and great enrichment and entertainment
The staff was up to the usual high Crystal standards. Ship is so well designed it feels very special and yet we feel right at home, Initia check in is a breeze, no line ups and lots of help.
Front desk staff are ...
We traveled from Quebec City to New York (Brooklyn). The ship was in very good condition, with a very comfortable bed in our balcony room (deck 12). We were really disappointed that the Planetarium was not fully functional, only one show was available and that one had issues with sound. The ship did a really good job on Gluten Free food selections, much better than Princess or Celebrity. Note ...
This was our 6th voyage aboard. First since the Re-Mastering in 2016 .
The Service and general ambience continued very good as expected .
Dining also was as good as it gets.
Kings Court improvements were well received by most .
Caronia Lounge was also a big improvement over the old , very underutilized Winter Garden.
I was suprized that the cabins added on deck 13 seemed hardly ...
We chose the Seabourn because friends of ours had already booked the cruise. We had heard wonderful things about the cruise line and were anticipating an exceptional experience. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor and we had to for go a lot of exploring in Quebec, which is a beautiful city. We had to also miss one of the ports we were looking forward to , Bar Harbor Maine due to ...
