Epic trip of a lifetime!

I cannot give enough high praises to the crew and naturalists of the Evolution. My two kids (5 and 9 year olds) and I had the time of our lives! From being told to jump into the pangas to follow the Orcas right after our safety briefing, to snorkeling with sea lions, sharks, octopus, eels, penguins, cormorants, and endless beautiful fish, hiking by 100s of marine iguanas, Christmas iguanas, ...

I would rate higher than 5 stars, if possible. From the moment I contacted Diane (with Quasar), the 5+ star customer experience began. I felt as if I had a personal travel consultant, because she is so responsive, attentive and helpful, yet I knew her and her husband are serving everyone traveling with Quasar. They are simply amazing! We booked a 7 day cruise through the Galápagos Islands with ...

Most people think Galapagos is a once in a life time adventure. We actually went twice. My extended family of 20 people went to the Galapagos (again) in December of 2021. This time we were lucky enough to get a trip on the Evolution with Quasar. Honestly, I did not think our trip could get better than last time, but it did. This boat is awesome, but the staff was above and beyond. We were ...

The Trip of My Lifetime

My Galapagos adventure was the event of my lifetime. I have traveled extensively, lived in Europe and Asia, and the beauty and peace I experienced throughout the Galapagos Islands was singular and memorable. Too precious to explain effectively, really. The natural white noise - the sounds of the surf, the calls of the birds, the barks of the sea lions, the rustle of the wind on the cacti, ...

Best Cruise Ever! The Galapagos Islands

We wanted to see The Galapagos Islands and a good friend recommended Quasar Evolution as the best way to go. We were not disappointed. From the minute we arrived by plane on the island of San Cristobal we were greeted warmly by the head guide, Alex. The yacht holds only 32 guests and we were all transported by bus to the port where we went via "panga" (dingy) to the lovely 3-masted ship. Once on ...

Wonderful trip. Great information, food was Equadorean and wonderful. The different exposures to the islands ( snorkeling with penguins ,sea lions, Rays, reef sharks, and of course, fish) hiking up peaks, across lava fields, seeing incredible flora and fauna, panga( raft) rides to see albatross, blue footed boobies, noddy terns, et. The naturalists were knowledgable, fun and helpful. Even the ...

We took the M/V Evolution in January 2015 to the Galapagos Islands. The cruise was better than I expected. I knew that this was considered a luxury yacht, but was extremely please with the large & well laid out cabin, the crew, the excursions, and the ship itself. The staff was outstanding. All of them were very professional, caring & friendly. Debora Carrera, our "hotel" manager was excellent at ...

I traveled on the M/V Evolution on a 7 day adventure cruise in the Galapagos Islands. I traveled with my spouse as part of a medium group. Our group was all people associated in some way with NIH. Most of us lived in the greater Washington DC metro area and had a least a few things in common, and nearly half of us were working scientists, but we did not go to the Galapagos as researchers, we went ...
