Just About Perfect

Review for a South America Cruise on Le Bellot

This was our 14th cruise, the second on Ponant, and we sought it out because we are tired of the large ship cruises. Ponant offers expeditionary experiences, rather than the traditional "rest, relax and party" cruise, so we approached our time with that expectation. We were incredibly impressed. The ship is graceful, beautiful and very comfortable. Appointments are sophisticated and of the ...

Loved the ship, staff and the canal!

This was our first Lindblad and first cruise of any kind. Ships was a nice size with <100 guests. Easy to get around it. I would put the median age at 70+. The canal was the draw for us and we were not disappointed. It was an amazing process! Bottom Line: we really liked the trip met some nice people and enjoyed the wildlife Pre-Trip - Easy to book, some back and forth on air travel. ...

The best overall cruise experience out of our 30 plus cruises!

Everyone has different likes and dislikes. I’m going to summarize what we look for in a cruise vacation which we felt Ponant came closest to an overall exceptional experience and why. My sister n husband ( late 50s very active non drinkers) and my husband (70) and myself(62) - both drinkers and not super active wanted a Xmas holiday experience together. We didn’t want to travel too far from USA ...

Fun Combination of Costa Rica Nature and a Panama Canal Crossing

We love the Lindblad / National Geographic Expeditions cruises because of their superb naturalists and their insight into wilderness areas of the world. The Quest is a new ship in the fleet and worked well for expedition cruising. Our cabin was small with a balcony; not much open floor space but you don't spend much time in the room. The general outline of the day is: a buffet breakfast, ...

One of the Best Weeks of My Life

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on National Geographic Quest

This was our first Lindblad/National Geographic cruise, and it fully delivered on all counts. The focus is on seeing the environment, birds, and animals of the area, with a Panama Canal transit as a bonus. The ship was modern, in perfect condition, beautiful, and a real ship (not a mall.) I had some of the best meals ever on board - the rack of lamb comes to mind as a real winner. The ship’s ...

We just returned from the Hurtigruten Midnatsol Chilean Fjords and Antarctica cruise, February 3 to 17, 2017. We had a fantastic time and were completely glad that, after a lot of research and planning, we chose this ship and itinerary. Hurtigruten does an outstanding job with the excursions, cruisings, landings, destination information and safety. Some other specifics could use more ...

Trip of a Lifetime II – Prince Albert II

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Silver Explorer

Trip of a Lifetime II - Prince Albert II The Prince Albert II is a luxurious expedition ship with 5 star cuisine and outstanding attention to detail and service. It offers the ambiance and beautiful lines of a large private yacht, not a cruise ship. It is intimate enough so that at the end of your voyage you feel like family with the incredible staff and crew. The cabins are roomy and tastefully ...
