We sailed on the Regal Princess out of Galveston last week in a BW obstructed extended balcony. there was no obstruction looking straight out. The room was clean, comfortable and the cabin steward did a fine job. We made all 3 port stops and had beautiful weather. Smooth sailing the entire week.
The MDR food continues to disappoint. The quality in meats, butter, cheesecake etc is so much ...
This was our 4th Princess cruise and we really wanted to see the Panama Canal. The Ruby was a good choice, not too big. We know that it will always be a struggle to get a pool deck lounge chair or a table on the pool deck. The deck above the pool usually had lounge chairs available. The Panama Canal passengers were mostly over 50, many with walkers or scooters.
This time we chose a mini-suite ...
Just got back from the Western Caribbean and Mexico on a Sky Princess cruise with three other couples. It’s really easy for passengers to arrange a two-tank dive in advance while visiting Roatan in the Honduras Bay Islands, as well as other Caribbean ports like Cozumel and Costa Maya.
We chose Sun Divers Roatan, as well as Papa Hog's Scuba Emporium in Cozumel and Amigos del Mar in Costa ...
We are cruisers in our 70s and Elite status on Princess. This is the last cruise we will take with them as they no longer want to cater to our age group. We will take our cruise dollars to Seabourn etc who don’t seem to collect their passengers from a nearby trailer park. The ship is lovely and the food is still great. The service is amazing but why keep up the pretence at a dress code when ...
We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a beautiful mini suite in front of the ship. Princess has always been our go to cruise line. The cruise workers were exceptional like always,no complaints. But the buck stops there. This was our 19th cruise with them our 50th in total. However, we were so disappointed with the shows, the entertainment and also the quality of some of the ...
We chose this sailing for an 80th birthday celebration for my mother. We wanted to leave from Galveston and were hoping for a more premium experience than the other lines sailing from there. I don’t think Princess delivered though.
First, the Regal Princess is a beautiful ship. Most of the crew were friendly and thoughtful. However, before I even arrived at the terminal, I expected the worst. ...
We had so much fun! Our room steward was amazing! The food in the main dining room was very good. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The International Cafe was delicious and very easy to grab a quick bite. We went late to the dinner buffet, and it was not so great - but it was late and to be expected. The ports were a lot of fun, and this cruise seemed to be a nice mix of sea days and ...
We chose this cruise mainly because it was going through the Panama Canal which was fantastic, but unfortunately two of the original stops got cancelled, the stop in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua got cancelled just a short time after booking and Grand Cayman got cancelled as the swell was to bad for the tenders.
Pros:
All the staff were excellent
The Medallion App seemed to work well
The ...
We wanted a different experience than last years Ruby princess cruise. same month, same ports(sorta). similar ships.
Wanted a better experience with service than last year. we paid extra for the Reserve class. we got it. It only provides dining room service. nothing else. they say you get a better location balcony but i didnt see any difference in that. Service in the dining room was ...
We felt our experience on Ruby Princess was far less than we had experienced on other ships . Let’s start with the buffet. Although what was there tasted good the selection was like eating at “Old Country Buffet.” Cheaper cuts of meat and less variety. We also felt the entertainment was not of the quality we had experienced before. There was a very limited number of performers. Even though ...
