Good cruise with just a couple of exceptions

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

The ship is beautiful and very clean. The staff is very friendly and they all do a great job. The food in the buffet was just OK and the biggest concern was there was very little change on the buffet during our 10 day cruise. The same selections every day got boring quickly. However the food in the Main Dining Room was amazing. It was very flavorful and out wait staff was fantastic. It was ...

Very good cruise with very few issues overall

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

Overall we enjoyed our 10 day cruise. We had a few issues that we know were a problem for others - I would want to be forewarned so read on if you are booked on Princess for a future trip. Note - my parents are late 60s and my son is almost 13 so it was the four of us. Embarkation - flew in the night before, stayed at Home2Suites in FLL. Hotel was just ok. Embassy is better but for the 6 hours ...

Older Ship, but Princess has their act together!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise based on a great casino offer. We had sailed on her in 2008 and 2009 when she was fresh and nearly new. Today the ship is in fairly decent shape. Worn areas show in the elevators, and some of the common areas. The crew in general were outstanding! Nice positive vibe from the people who make this party barge go! Princess really had their act together on embarkation, ...

Limited-mobility and snorkeling perspective

Enchanted Princess 17-27 March 2024 Review: Limited-mobility, snorkeling, suite life perspective including detailed know how I had an egoistic desire to spend my jubilee birthday onboard. Why egoistic? Well, the first reason is obvious, it costs money, much more than we typically spend on a birthday. But there was another and more significant reason – my wife does not like cruises. In the past, ...

Utterly amazing crew- albeit, a couple drawbacks

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Discovery Princess

My third time sailing on the Discovery- I absolutely adore this ship and its crew is absolutely amazing. The crew remains above excellent- they remembered me from previous sailings and made me feel incredibly welcome and at home-and my stateroom- a premium ocean view- was beyond amazing! However, although my overall experience was amazing, there were a few items that detracted from my overall ...

Very enjoyable cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Caribbean Princess

My wife and I chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary -- we had never been to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, or Cozumel -- and the timing, which fitted our schedule. (We forgot it was March break, our kids being long grown up). We had done one cruise on Princess years ago, and two each on Norwegian and Royal Caribbean since. Princess seems at least as good as Royal Caribbean, and better than Norwegian, ...

TECHNOLOGY HAS GLITCHES BUT THEY DON'T SPOIL A FANTASTIC CRUISE

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Ruby Princess

We chose this cruise for three reasons. The first was a lifelong desire to see the Panama Canal. The second was how much we enjoyed our Alaska Cruise Tour with Princess before COVID. The third was - COVID was no longer a concern to us! First of all, don't get me wrong - we LOVED the cruise. The staff and crew were amazing, cheerful and helpful (especially our cabin attendant Czar). The food was ...

Great itinerary, terrific staff, beautiful ship

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

The islands visited included St Lucia, Antigua, and Dominica, all of which are stunning with gorgeous beaches and natural wonders like waterfalls. We did two excursions through major booking sites and one through Princess. All were well worth it, as many of the attractions had some sort of admission that was covered by the excursion price. The ship was, overall, pristine and well-cared for. ...

New Nickel and Dime Policies Not Appreciated from Princess

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

My college aged son and I did the Western Caribbean itinerary for his college term break. It was my 3rd and his 4th time on Regal Princess, and we are both Platinum Status. We flew into Houston Hobby on late Friday night and stayed at the nearby TownePlace Suites, which is a Marriott brand with a mini kitchen. They offered a free Lyft from the airport and were clean and modern. We ordered ...

16-day Cruise with 4 Hawaiian Ports & 1 Mexican Port

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

User Avatar

I chose this cruise because it was a good value for the money I paid for it. It was my 2nd time on Princess. I would cruise with this line again but it is not my favorite. The shore excursion to the Waimea Canyon in Kaua'i was awesome, as was the one to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in Hilo which included a stop at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory. There were too many nights in which I ...
