I took this cruise for The Suez Canal and the Arabia countries for their culture and religion and also a time for a good memorable vacation for me and which I’ve got from this cruise. I liked the entertainments in the theater also the lectures on destinations by Debbie. I still have more on my bucket list to go through yet. I was hoping on this cruise could’ve helped me make a quick decision ...

Excellent choice of ports. Princess has good value and consistent and organized product. Food is excellent but occasionally disappoints. Good coffee still seems to be a weakness although café bar at extra charge is a nice touch. Value added features are pushed and not good value for money especially excursions. You have to be careful as you can quickly find the bill for your holiday much higher ...

We choose this cruise because it was a new ship and the Destination was Australia. The all over experince was good with most services up to expectation and some exceeding expectation. However there was an unacceptable amount of short coming in PR. Firstly the embarkation in Shanghai was a disaster. 12.30 was the embarkation time and that appeared to be for every one. There was no stagerred ...

Wanted to see some of Asia and this one was shown to us.Enjoyed it very much. Embarkation was a nightmare though , something has to be done about it if a ship leaves Shanghai, no thanks to the Chinese government, we think. Dining room food leaves a lot to be desired, was disappointing. It was the first time we chose to miss dinner there, at least 5 nights. Overall loved the ship, crew, ...

Good value for money. Very disappointed that Happy Hour had been taken off all Princess Cruises. Food was great. I have noticed portion size has decreased which is a great thing. Entertainment was very ordinary. I enjoyed the few days from Singapore. The entertainment progressively got worse. I found the activities on board not to my liking. This was my 5th Princess cruise and it was the ...

Our primary reason for choosing this cruise was the cost & a reasonably cheap airfare to fly to Japan. There were not many ports on this repositioning cruise, however many we had not been to for quite some time making it like a new experience. We spent three nights in Tokyo before the cruise which was an enough to wet our appetite to return to Japan for a more detailed land trip in the country. ...

Enjoyable cruise

We boarded the ship in Dubai. We had a mini-suite on the 11th floor (Baja Deck) and it was spacious and very comfortable. We had anytime dining and the food in the main dining room was average at best. We ate at Harmony specialty restaurant and that was a big mistake. I usually enjoy Chinese food but I didn't like Harmony food at all. While the service was excellent, the food was barely edible. ...

We've cruised on all three ships in this class on their maiden voyages. While we had an excellent cruise, the Majestic fell short of our expectations given our experiences on the Royal and Regal although the cruising portion went very smoothly. We chose this voyage based upon the destination ports of call and the offered excursions through Princess and our expectation that as a sister ship ...

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Emerald Princess

This was our third cruise on Emerald Princess this year and we were surprised how much everything had improved on this latest cruise from Singapore to Sydney. The majority of those on board had joined in Southampton for the cruise to Australia. I have to admit we were tempted with offers as low as £1,800 for that cruise, but for us it would be just too long, as we prefer a maximum of 3 weeks, ...
