Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Crown Princess

We chose this cruise to be a relaxing time with friends. Because we had been to most of the ports before, we did not book any ship excursions. This was our third cruise on the Crown and the most disappointing. The ship is badly in need of a thorough overall updating . Embarkation was a breeze and we did the walk off disembarkation with no problems. Entertainment was hit and miss. We did ...

This is my 7th Cruise, 2nd time with Princess who I did rate my favourite. However, not anymore. This cruise has been my worst experience ever. Very embarrassing when we have brought our friends with us and it’s there first cruise! The food in the main restaurant Bottecelli is absolutely disgusting. The presentation is the lowest I’ve ever seen. There seems to be a selection of 2-3 soups on ...

I had never visited the Eastern Caribbean ports. I enjoyed the different ports: St. Kitts, Martinique, Barbados, Antiqua. St. Thomas. Grand Turks & Caicos plus the weather was beautiful. The ship staff ( waiters and cabin stewards) were wonderful. The terry cloth robe was nice. We had plenty of hangers. The cabin was small. The balcony did not have a foot stool which I would have liked. My ...

We started our holiday with a couple of extra days shopping at Sawgrass Mills, which has fantastic bargains for the British shoppers. The only real downside to our holiday was our arrival. We have since found out that we pre-paid an exhorbitant amount for our transfers and when we arrived at Miami airport, there was no one to greet us and we waited around for 15 minutes unsure what to do as a ...

We have never cruised with Princess but we liked the itinerary to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! This is a fantastic cruise line. The embarkation was flawless. Our stateroom was ready upon arrival. Everything around the ship was clean always. The entertainment was fantastic. We kept busy going from one venue to the next, not to miss anything. Our favorite was ...

we were looking for a 10 day cruise with good hot weather, which we did get. We have been on this ship before and it has since been refurbished but I'm not sure what parts. It seemed exactly the same as 10 years ago. Maybe the specialty restaurants which we did not go to. The cabins were exactly the same but with very mushy beds. We chose twin beds which were extremely small and too soft. They ...

The itinerary as well as the 10 days, gives you more time to enjoy activities as well as time to relax. The cruise director, Peter and his staff were wonderful. Alwyn was especially good at his position of assistant cruise director, then Song and Will. There was another member and I can’t reme correct spelling or pronunciation, Bongani. We enjoyed about every aspect of the cruise, many ...

We arrived the day before, choosing a hotel with free transferts from airport and to port. But, they changed the rules before we gat there, so now they charge 10$/pers to port... a taxi cost 25$. We were 4 adults, so we chose the taxi. Embarcation was fast (we are Platinium) and they offer cake and coffe while we wait in a private lounge. The ship, our cabin, dining venues and especialy the ...

We wanted a relaxing time away and to warm up!!!. The crew was exceptional especially in the bars and international cafe The Salty Dog Grill had exceptional grilled food and offered a good variety. It could be substituted for main course if you don't want buffet or dining room. The dining room breakfast was good far better than dinner. Service at dinner was always slow. We really enjoyed the ...
