To celebrate our 45th anniversary we decided return back to the same itinerary as our First Cruise with Princess Cruises at that time on the new " Love Boat " Pacific Princess. So for this Occasion we picked the" Ruby Princess ".14 days
A Lovely relaxed cruise we chose Aloha Deck 12 in a Premium Balcony State room this time on the Starboard side first stop on itenary was new Caledonia then ...
Anytime Dining was great - excellent wait staff, especially head waiter Joaquim. Wasn't as impressed at the Lido. In fact, the drinks service at the Lido seemed to dwindle markedly towards the end of the cruise.
Medallion Class and associated apps were excellent. Particularly loved the 'find my friend' service on the app.
Cabin steward was such a hard worker and so friendly - thank you ...
Most of the cruise was fine with the exception of some staffing issues.
Bar staff were awful, it was difficult to get a drink a lot of the time, shore tours staff couldn't care less and didn't really know what they were selling.
Restaurant staff and cabin stewards were excellent and could not be faulted.
Not a lot of activities for teens and the staff in the kids club were hit and ...
We wanted to visit some areas of NZ within the comfort of a cruise ship.
We chose Princess as the itinerary suited the time we wanted to go.
The interior of the ship was lovely. There had been a refurbishment in 2018. Lovely new carpets throughout and some new furniture.
While we were on this cruise the Medallion was introduced. It was in the testing phase so we had to carry our cruise ...
Route: 58 days round trip Fort Lauderdale including 21 ports of call, passage through the Panama Canal, rounding Cape Horn, and scenic cruising around Devil’s Island. Total trip 17,591 nautical miles.
1. General Comments: We are regular cruisers, and our focus of this cruise was to get an overview of the South American continent. This cruise showed us that further visits are needed. Five ...
My husband and I wanted to see the Panama Canal. Overall the trip was satisfactory. The staff were wonderful. My only objection was that some of the ports were not much to visit unless you were going on a tour. We found that many of the tours were too expensive. The best port was Cartagena, Columbia. It had a small park with exotic birds and a free shuttle. I wanted to go on this cruise ...
The ship was great. the food was great. Service was great. Our cabin steward, Austin was the BEST. Right there for anything we needed. Entertainment was good. LOVED our balcony cabin. Convinced me to do nothing but balconies from now on. Ports were mostly good. My mistake for booking a larger ship for the Panama canal. Turns out what I really wanted was to go through the original canal. I had read ...
I've cruised 23 times prior to this cruise on four different cruise lines. We decided to give Princess a try. I was underwhelmed. The ship was very nice, easy to maneuver around. We had an ocean view cabin, it was spacious and clean. I really liked how an interior wall separated the room from the closet. This was useful when someone was sleeping and your other half needed to get clothing from the ...
We wanted to see part of the Panama Canal locks. Plus all the ports were places we had not been too. Our first princess cruise. A smaller ship, older crowd but we truly had a wonderful time. It was my husband (45) , myself (44) & my daughter (20). It was a grad from college trip for my daughter!
Food was delicious! Entertainment amazing. Loved Project 5 , performances, etc. Buffet was ...
The last cruise we were on was on an Oceania ship. We were spoiled and were not expecting that much from Princess. We were pleasantly surprised as it was lovely. The food on Princess is not as yummy as Oceania but everything was pretty good. The turkey dinner on Thanksgiving was surprisingly good considering how many people ordered it.
We chose this cruise because our kids live in San ...
