Princess Singles Cruises Cruise Reviews

This is the crab risotto. It tasted like it looks. Someone from the kitchen staff/executive chef needs to taste the food from the kitchen
This is also right off the waiters hands. It is supposed to be pear flambe. The ice cream was out of the soft serve ice cream station I think.
This is the fish and chips right off the hands of our waiter. We all laughed at this. Yes, we could have ordered another dish - but is this worthy of a 5 star restaurant/cruise?
Fish and Chip from the Pub Lunch Menu (Sea Day). Note small fish portion. More like a fish guijon.

Friendly Staff but missing the Princess Flair

Review for Emerald Princess to Europe - British Isles & Western

Once again we chose to cruise on Princess Cruises due to previous amazing experiences. The itinerary was great, the staff super friendly but I must say that the food this cruise on the Emerald Princess sorely missed the mark on options, taste and food quality. Having been on previous Princess boats we had very much enjoyed the freshness, and flavour of the meals provided. This trip was a flop. ...

Avoid. Faded Glory. Not what it should be.

Round UK cruise from Southampton. The ship is tired and has signs of wear and tear. The floor of the main pool deck is churned up. The metal trim in the dinner room ceilings are stained and rusted. Food is mediocre at best. Portion sizes are very small. Princess have stopped most of the extra special luxuries that make cruising special. Consequently it feels more like a cross channel ferry. ...

The "rusted" Crown

Had somewhat chosen this cruise as a last minute adventure, as some much needed work was being done in our condo that made it required to find a quick and easy getaway. And we figured as we are top tier status with Princess (Elite/Platinum) we had high expectations as we had frequently travelled with Princess. But sadly we were very wrong, as the Crown Princess is in serious need of not only some ...

I can say amazing, but that word means so many things to people. Here's what it means to me and why this cruise was absolutely amazing for me: - surrounded by incredible views from anywhere on the ship. From watching whales on our balcony, otter seals swimming by that looked like they were waving, sunsets and majestic mountains and glaciers - it was like sailing in paradise. - outstanding ...

Wonderful Crew on unsafe ship

We have cruised on Celebrity, Carnival and Norwegian and this was by far the worst ship and most poorly managed cruise yet. After we booked and paid, we were then sent the notice that the ship was having engine troubles and therefore one of the listed ports was eliminated and the time in the existing ports were being cut down to a few ours instead of all day. This is a classic bait and switch ...

Review for Ruby Princess to Alaska

We were excited to go back to Alaska and visit new ports. Icy Straight Point was a great place. We loved being able to walk through the forest up to the shopping. Prince Rupert was OK - not really anything to do if you don't take an excursion. If they want to make this a more permanent port they need to put in more tourist shops. But the Fire Dept Museum and nice and I was able to get a ...

We had so much fun taking Princess North to Alaska again. Star, Grand, now the Ruby has taken us to visit popular ports of call in Alaska. Due to covid our ship was not full. Almost full but not entirely. Sailing 07/22. I am not sure if capacity was limited due to staff availability or simply not enough staff ready to get to full levels. My DW and I are vaccinated (not boosted). We got vaccinated ...

We chose this cruise to take our adult grand children to Alaska. They seemed to endure it as it was their first cruise ever. We, on the other hand, have cruised with Princess 9 times previously. This cruise was a complete disaster for us. We were charged for drinks we DID NOT ORDER; Waited over 45 minutes to have our order take in two of the seated area restaurants; drink orders, when we received ...

Review for Coral Princess to Australia & New Zealand

Right from the start our cruise got off to a wonderful start: The new Brisbane Cruise Terminal works well as the whole process from arrival to being on board having a delicious lunch in the dining room only took 30 minutes. The ship is in impressive condition given that it is 20 years old. The decore was very much to our liking. It is an elegant ship with staff keeping it in sparkling condition. ...

I picked this cruise because I could drive to the port and not have to fly. The ship was small, very few things to do, little to no intertainment. The ports where not impressive. Food was sub-par. A cruise line knowing they are taking you to a cold area should have more intertainment inside if you didn't want to know how to fold a dollar bill in a craft project you where watching reruns of love ...
