As people in our 40's this was our 1st ever cruise and Princess wasn't our initial choice... we originally had booked Royal Caribbean but cancelled that cruise when we found out it was going to be a "cultural enrichment" cruise designed for Asian passengers. We enjoyed most of the itinerary, spare Bali, which was a disappointment considering the cruising time to get there and back. The ship seems old even after its recent refit. I chose this cruise because I liked the itinerary and like Princess Cruises. I was very happy with the itinerary however the ship needs a complete refurbishment. This ship was renovated in 2018 but it was not well done at all. The green carpet around pools looked dated and was always soaking wet. Pool furniture was also dated and tired looking.
