There was a glitch getting on the ship, which caused us to not start off the best, we waited in line outside the ship for hours & were never told why we were not allowed to board, and then once inside, more long lines- we heard it was a computer problem. Once we were onboard, they gave us temporary room cards, which meant we had to find the room steward every time we wanted to get into our room, ...
This was our first Princess cruise, so we truly didn't know what to expect other than what we had read and what Princess is known for. Embarkation was a breeze even if we were required to fill out a medical questionnaire stating our exposure, or lack of exposure, to Covid-19. No temperature check or screening of any kind.
Once onboard, we found evidence of what all the previous reviews had ...
I chose this cruise last Fall because of the ports, length of time in port, and the sailing date. I had sailed on the Crown Princess in 2019 and was happy with that experience.
By the time we sailed much had changed. The Coronavirus was escalating slowly when we left Port Everglades so our major change was skipping Princess Cays and a revision to our itinerary.
As far as the crew and ...
Crazy world out there but on our cruise we were treated like princesses! With the new medallions, all the crew knew our names and who we belonged with. And we could find each other, generally. Embarking and disembarking was so easy with doing all the paper work before getting to the ship and having the medallions on. They say there were over 3000 passengers but we didn't see them! Except for the ...
After 20 plus cruises with various companies, Princess is still a favorite. First time on Royal Princess. Ship was beautiful and spacious, no lineups for any venue or dining.
Sabatini's speciality restaurant was a romantic setting for two to enjoy an anniversary. The menu selection and food presentation was memorable.
Alfredo's pizza was so great, we enjoyed several times. Make sure you ...
This was my 19th cruise, second on Princess.
Coming from Chicago, we arrived the prior evening in Ft. Lauderdale and stayed at the Hampton Inn on Las Olas Blvd. They have an airport shuttle til 11pm. Very clean hotel with nice breakfast assortment and pool area to relax at prior to departing for port in Ft Lauderdale. It was very cool in Ft. Lauderdale - which is par for a January or February ...
The on board experience for my first cruise was great. After talking to seasoned cruisers on board, I found that most preferred Princess Cruise's larger staterooms and variety of activities to those they had experienced on other cruiselines. Our ship was not allowed to dock at the end of our cruise until 2 crew members were tested for the Coronavirus. This meant a whole extra day at sea but the ...
Chose this as a preamble to an Antarctic cruise. Wanted to visit the Falklands so decided to do this first and if it got there great, if not I would ensure it was a stop on the Antarctic cruise...
Embarkation was chaos. San Antonio check in did not open until 1135/1140. Through relatively quickly as Elite/suite. Had to be be bussed to ship.... :-(
Ship is the opposite layout to most ...
Princess are excellent. With the recent news about Covit 19 and Princess ships being involved, I think they are doing an excellent job at keeping everyone informed and being so good with their cancellation and refund policy.
This is a beautiful ship. The atrium is big, light and comfortable. Really enjoy the International Café for snacks 24é7. The food and entertainment is first class. The ...
I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I was pleasantly surprised that only one of five ports had other ships in port, so the ports were not overcrowded.
The ship's crew was warm, welcoming, and performed like a well-oiled machine. They were entertaining, caring, and made us feel special.
We sailed in Club Class, which was stellar. The service was superb, the food was excellent, and we never ...
