Embarkation was very easy as we were assisted through the process as I am disabled. Rooms weren't ready once on the ship so we had to cart our carry-on luggage around until the rooms were ready. The staff lady that was in charge of monitoring people in the food line was rude in the way she addressed people nibbling on a french fry while going through the line but didn't much care about people ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary and sailing dates we wanted. Had never been on a cruise to the interior passage of Alaska before. It was beautiful! Everything you see in the brochure. Good food, entertainment and enjoyed ourselves very much. THe ship was beautiful, and smooth sailing! Most of the time didn’t realize we were on the water. My husband had never cruised before and was ...
This was a great quick, one-night getaway cruise. Great option for people who can't dedicate a lot of time and just want a quick weekend getaway. The ship and service are great. We had dinner at Share, which was really good. I always enjoy the Share restaurants on the Princess ships. As it was only one night, we skipped the entertainment and just enjoyed a little time out on deck.
I love ...
Anniversary and Birthday trip-we both turned fifty and it is our thirtieth wedding Anniversary. We had decided to treat ourselves to something special a we have always Wanted to see Alaska and see something “once in a lifetime”.
Alaska Which was absolutely fabulous, provided that experience. We were blessed to see pods of whales migranting south from the ship as we sat on our baloncy. ...
Ship left out of Seattle which is convenient for us. We've done Alaska 10 times and wanted something different. This itinerary fit the bill. Ports of call were interesting and I adore the Ruby Princess. My only complaint is that food quality seems to be less impressive than in previous years. Deserts and appetizers were wonderful, but on two nights the entrees were merely OK. My waiters offered ...
First of all, no hand sanitizers except at the beginning of the restaurants. When returning to port, they had to go back and find one as I complained about the lack of sanitizers! I would be scared to take another Princess cruise!
Secondly, the food was greasy and tasteless. My husband is usually easy to please but we both found it disgusting. We ate out at every port. Had to send back ...
Chose this cruise to get some serious R&R in after a stressful few months. It’s convenient since we live in Seattle and we’ve sailed aboard both the Ruby and other Princess ships.
Sadly, the ship is due to drydock upon completion of this voyage and you can tell from the attitude of the crew and the number of venues/services unavailable. The men’s steam room was unavailable for the duration. ...
Very enjoyable experience with super efficient boarding and disembarkation process (both Princess and Customs). Our only complaint is that while the ship is non-smoking, there are designated smoking areas such as one corner of the promenade deck that interfered with our enjoyment of walking laps consistently in fresh air, and some areas of upper decks that remained closed for the duration of the ...
My friend & I decided to celebrate our Birthday’s this year by taking a cruise & we both really wanted to see Alaska so the Inside passage seemed to be the one to choose. Our boarding of the cruise ship went very smoothly & the weather was great. We attended many of the on board activities including movies under the stars. Our trip planner set up a birthday dinner at Curtis Stones restaurant ...
It's a very large ship with a lot of people to serve. Don't expect personal service or much attention from the crew. Food is decent but with the best reserved for the $30pp specialty restaurants. Activities are the usual uninteresting mix. Best part of the ship "The Sanctuary" is reserved for extra paying guests. Don't bother. Stage shows are exactly what you've seen on every cruise you have been ...
