I chose this cruise because of a need to see Bordeaux, France. Bordeaux was not as exciting as I thought it would be but Bilboa and St. Peter Port more than made up for my disappointment. I have sailed with Princess a total of 100+ days. I am an Elite member and even with my history of sailing on cruises with Princess and many other lines, Princess Ships are par excellence. This particular ...

I chose this Cruise because I am a regular Cruiser and was running out of ships & destinations with my favourite company NCL and to a lesser extent Royal Carribean. On the surface they seemed very good and the recent tv program swung it in their favour. The Que tmerely to register should have been a warning, way too long, way to slow and not enough staff to manage. Pop down the road and see how ...

This was our first Princess cruise, we have cruised with Royal Caribbean on numerous occasions and cannot help making comparisons. Pros: The crew were lovely and very helpful, our room steward Anna was great, our room was very clean. The entertainment was very good, especially the Princess Singers and Dancers, as well as other entertainment. However we were expecting a famous celebrity singer ...

I wanted to cruise the Mediterranean thru the Gibralter strait. Sapphire Princess is a wonderful ship, one of the Grand class- which we have liked the most of the many ships we have been on. this class is set up with most of the entertainmenton deck seven. On Sapphire and Ruby -three beautiful well maintained dance floors. Kudos for bringing us singer Peter Howarth and the band "Atomic" both ...

We had been looking at cruises online for a long time, and decided this was the one when we discovered I could be in Paris for my birthday ( October 22). It was beautiful in every way - from the movies under the stars, snuggling under a blanket while the crew delivered fresh popcorn, our comfortable stateroom with the most comfortable bed ever, the variety and quality of food, the excellence of ...

Chose this mini-cruise as was due to visit Guernsey & Cherbourg. Also booked an independent tour in Guernsey. The night prior the tour company informed us the ship would not be porting in Guernsey and issued us with full refund. Nothing from Princess, even tho booked direct, checked website and cruise personaliser all evening, nothing. Arrived at Southampton, very smooth check-in handed ...

Loved all of the ports! Princess organizes a variety of tours and are very organized with port tours. Being Ballroom dancers, we were so happy to see 3 lovely wood dance floors on the ship. We danced every night of this 14 day cruise because of the wonderful groups that played music to dance too. We certainly got our money's worth on this cruise...great ports to visit and lots of dancing. ...

This was to be a short cruise of seven nights on Sapphire Princess, taking in Guernsey, Bordeaux, Bilbao and La Coruna. Unfortunately, the itinerary changed as we embarked, the French were on strike in La Verdon (port for Bordeaux) and we were going to La Rochelle instead. Sapphire Princess had just completed a refit and this was her first season based in Southampton. ...

Having cruised for many years mostly with Celebrity and Azamara, we saw this 7 day cruise on Sapphire Princess advertised at a bargain price and, having heard good things about Princess, decided to book. Another first for us was embarking and disembarking at Southampton. We arrived by taxi at Southampton and our luggage was immediately taken by a porter and next appeared in our stateroom about ...

5th May 2018, our first view of Sapphire Princess was from the end of Hythe Pier and she looked terrific. After dropping off my car at the terminal, it was the fastest check-in and boarding that we encountered. No, we weren't late nor were we early - It was just quiet. Everything went so smoothly and so quickly and this time we tried a mini-suite which was big but a bit disappointing for the ...
