we chose this ship because of the itinerary and it matched our expectations. We were very fortunate with the weather always dry apart from drizzle in the fjords one morning some windy weather but didn't cause too many problems a very large ship and fully booked = too many people at times in the central area of the ship occasionally a queue to go into dining room ...

This was our first Princess cruise, chosen mainly for the itinerary. We were blessed with amazing weather during the entire cruise so fortunately we were able to visit every port as scheduled. If I had to choose a favourite port it has to be the Falkland Islands for its uniqueness and it's amazing penguins! A trip to Volunteer Point should not be missed. Scenic cruising along the Beagle Channel ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and timing and if anything it surpassed what we had imagined. The trip around the Horn has some absolutely wonderful ports and the scenery and wildlife are magnificent. I would choose a mid ship cabin for stability as most days were very calm, however, I think there is potential for it to be very rough. We, however, had a lot of sunshine and warmer ...

This was our 7th or 8th Princess cruise. The cabin was fine and our attendant was more than accommodating. The ports and scenery were great. The ship was in very good shape but the carpet in our cabin needed to be deep cleaned and some touch up work needs to be done in the elevators and public areas. Some of the upholstered chairs in the public areas need to be cleaned or replaced. But over all we ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We always wanted to explore more of South America, and this cruise worked perfectly for us. We spent 3 days in Santiago pre-cruise and explored this beautiful city with others who were on our cruise. We shared a van to the port, San Antonio, and we were very pleased with our cabin. We were on deck 10, mid ship. It was a great location. We ...

I chose this cruise as a group of friends had booked and we thought it would be a great time seeing a part of the world for the first time. The itinerary was good but I thought the ship could have been better. Better entertainment, perks etc. On my previous cruises there were at least a few perks included (drinks, tips etc) but this time everything was extra - and quite expensive! Based on this ...

We chose the package holiday which included the carnival at Rio de Janeiro, then a flight to Santiago where we were then taken by coach to join the Sapphire Princess for a 14 day cruise. After disembarking we flew to Iguazu to stay for three nights in order to view the falls from both sides. We then flew back to Buenos Aires for a night before flying home to Heathrow. The cruise was very ...

I was a little concerned after reading so many negative reviews of the Emerald Princess and the cruise in South America, so I wanted to get my opinion out there as well. This was our first 14 day cruise, but my 3rd with Princess and my 7th overall. We chose the cruise for the itinerary, and opportunity to see an area that is difficult to access. We are from the US and I’m in my mid 50’s. There ...

My wife and I chose this cruise because we wanted ti visit South America and go around Cape Horn which is a great experience so see the "End of the World" as it is called. Seeing all kinds of birds as well as sea lions and seals was very nive, but the highlight was seein the Penguins in their natural environment. They are really cute and funny. We have been on Princess a few times and have ...
