We stayed in one of the larger suites C409 (Penthouse), and we're disappointed mainly regarding the balcony, although the cabin was dated. The furniture was old with black mildew on most surfaces and in disrepair. Never been to Sitka or Haines. Big ships rarely go there, but to Skagway and Ketchikan instead. Overall good experience but dampened by toxic second-hand smoke throughout the ship's common area from casino. We are elite with princess and last cruised on Princess Grand 3-2019 for the Mexico Rivera cruise. This trip was Alaska, 10 days round trip from San Francisco. Its my opinion that service on Princess Grand has improved. Staff constantly ask if everything is ok. horizon court seems to have improved.
