Christmas sailing for the whole family.
Embarkation was a pain in the behind. Fault lies both with my family and the staff (but primarily the latter). I won't go too much into it, but basically, be sure your whole party is there to check in at the same time!

This trip was a very enjoyable way to spend the holidays. My favorite moment was when the ship came to a full stop for a while to allow Santa to board. While the ship was stationery in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we witnessed sharks swimming leisurely along. That was very cool!

I was told that Princess Cruies were great. I found out differently. The food was not what I had expected. The buffet closed in the afternoon and the selection were the same thing day after day. Cabin was a disappointing experience, only sitting area in an upgraded balcony cabin was a small desk chair. We put a balcony chair in the cabin, not sure what happen to a love seat, or at minimum a comfortable chair.

We went for Renewal of Vows and a Holiday get away to a warmer climate. We had a fantastic time on this Hawaii cruise! Weather in Hawaii was perfect in December, 75F-90F. We didn’t find any all day excursions, but didn’t want to do only 1/2 day. We just took Uber to local beaches for snorkeling, lunch, and drinks. All in one location. We've been on this cruise many times. So all was as expected. There are many sea days filled with activities or just relaxing. Loved the lectures about Hawaii...culture/history/natural wonders...what to see and food. Loved the hula and ukulele lessons, and all the Hawaiian crafts and music. We flew from London and stayed 2 nights pre-cruise in San Francisco.
As Elite members check in was quick and easy and we were on board within 20 minutes.
The outside of the ship was rusty in places but inside the ship was fantastic.
Our balcony cabin was lovely but had no footrest on the balcony or a cabin kettle.Our cabin steward got us a footrest but couldn't get a kettle.

We love Princess and enjoyed the 15 day Hawaii cruise. The ports were amazing and our room steward DeDe was outstanding. We have 2 more Princess Cruises planned. The new TV service is amazing.
