The Medallion ROCKS!

We have sailed with Princess in the past and were anxious to get back on board. We left San Francisco rather late (not sure what the holdup was), burt experienced going under the Golden Gate Bridge at twilight! How crazy was that! Then it was off into the wild blue seas, which got my husband completely seasick for the next two days. Regardless, the Medallion system worked great, although I ...

I'm not sure what happened to the Ruby since I cruised on her in July of 2022, but something sure changed. Dining: Crown Grill: We ate there 2 times, and the first time I ordered the Filet Med Rare - It was the toughest piece of meat I've ever eaten......tasted like a cheap piece of sirloin steak. It was cooked perfectly, but man was it tough. The 2nd time I ordered the Porterhouse ...

Great cruise experience. Helped by great weather. Were able to sunbathe for all but the last day. Despite embarcation being at the old pier we found it seamless and worth the effort on the app up front. The app and wifi worked perfectly. Food was superb in the MDR we used the one near vines. Good quality. Perfect portion.sizes and brilliant service. We went to Sabatinis twice. Food and ...

An Incredibly Relaxing Cruise

We chose this cruise because we have sailed to Hawaii five times previously and we love all the sea days. It is also a great way to get a taste of the islands: Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii. As an added bonus, our favorite Hawaiian ambassadors Brian and Rowena Vasquez were onboard, teaching ukulele, hula and a wide variety of Hawaiian-themed crafts. They embody the Spirit of Aloha and really ...

As cruisers since 2008 and having done 16 total, this being our 17th and 4th Princess cruise I'm sorry to say going was a mistake. 15 day Hawaii round trip from San Francisco, flew in day of the cruise and Uber from OAK to the pier #27, split fare with our 2 cruise buds and the total Uber was only $66 + tip. Ship was fine, clean, maintained, employees friendly but all the old covid protocols ...

Missed Hawaii because of positive test

We chose this cruise for DW's birthday. We'd been to Hawaii before, but this would be a great second half of a B2B. I tested positive on test day before turn around and DW tested positive the next day (her birthday). We went to isolation for 11/10 days and thus missed all of Hawaii except what we could see from our balcony. That wasn't much since most of the ports were working ports and not ...

Hawaii & Covid

HAWAII!!!! Beautiful. Everything I imagined and more. San Francisco was just as the media describes. Although we arrived a day early and our hotel was in a great location on Nob Hill, we decided to not go out. Embarkation was confusing. It started late and there was a very long line that we waited in for over two hours. The ship did not get underway until after 7 (instead of 4) and there ...

Wonderful cruise and lovely ship but Princess Covid testing, reporting and prevention policies and procedures are disappointingly poor

We'd been home for 3 months and decided a trip to Hawaii would be a nice change. We loved Club Class and our mini suite D 504. The only major disappointment was it lacked wall charging plugs on either side of the bed to charge our IPads and cell phones. The entertainment was a mixed bag. The one standout was Jassen Allen from Las Vegas. His show was terrific. The two Princess production ...

Disappointed in Hawaiian ports

We chose this cruise because we wanted to do the 15 day Hawaiian for our 70th birthday. So excited. Day of embarkation, waited over 2 hours to get into building, thank goodness it wasn't raining (San Francisco). Ship is small and does need repair. I think they were very understaffed with this cruise. Our cabin steward and our main dining servers were fantastic. However, the ...

Most Unhappy Cruise Trip with Princess

16 of us decided to do this Hawaii Cruise even though most of us have done this cruise at least once in the past. After the 2 year Covid break, we so look forward to this cruise. However, right from embarkation, there were issues... Long line at the pier. Most passengers were seniors, some with walkers, with wheelchairs. No matter, the line stretched 100+ and we waited for more than an hour. ...
