Loved my first cruise!!!....but...is that it?

I chose this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday. I loved the experience, but I wished there was MORE TO DO!!! On the ship, I mean. The best part for me was the excursions, and meeting some really nice people onboard. Outside of that, I wished there was more opportunities to have get-togethers. For those who have been on many cruises and have met all sorts of people, I think that would be ...

My sister and I chose this because we had one week in common off and I said, I am looking to see to where Princess goes this week and that is where we are going! At first I was a little disappointed that there was 2 sea days but we enjoyed those almost more than the port days. The Cruise activity staff were wonderful. We loved the trivia and name that tune activities. They had some new ...

Just back from enjoyable cruise. Embarkation quick. Ship in good condition. We had previously sailed on Regal 3 yeas ago and did notice some cutbacks- mainly in deck bars drinks quality and MDR choices but on nights we went we still managed to find something!!Food in Horizon court was great-don't miss the seafood buffet!Crown Grill was good too. We saw the illusionists and the welsh comedy ...

We chose this cruise because we sailed princess in 2013 and really enjoyed the food and entertainment. We waited for the Royal because the balcony rooms have sofa beds and we were traveling with our son. Positive:lots of movie choices in stateroom, gym not crowded (not sure if this is because no air conditioning for several days), you don't have to sign for towels, usually could find a chair ...

when you make a complaint, you expect to be listened to? 1) boarded on the Saturday and balcony area and glass were dirty - at first I thought the glass was frosted??!! 2) rear deck on boat (deck 17 ) was filthy - a day at sea and noticed stained decks and loungers. 3) formal night - we chose not to attend as ive had more black tie events than I care to mention and didn't want to cart my ...

This was the second time we had sailed with the Princess. First time was with the Diamond Princess, this was so good! So we were very curious if the Royal Princess this would succeed. And it was not )-:. The ship looks gorgeous, but at the end of the trip we were less satisfied than beginning of the trip. What are the positive things and the more negative...lets start with the negative: - this ...

Recently back from my first ever Mediterranean cruise, but my 5th overall European cruise, on the Royal Princess. A little background; I am 55, DH is 59. This was our 26th cruise. Previous cruises have been Princess (13), Carnival (4), Holland America (2), Viking River (2), and one each on Royal Caribbean, NCL, Celebrity and the American Queen. We booked this cruise in mid July, having lucked ...

After touring France for a 12 night Trafalgar Tour plus 4 nights in Paris we flew to Civitavecchia and boarded the Royal Princess the next day. It was so wonderful to have a balcony cabin again, this being my 35th Cruise and hubby's 33rd Cruise we utilized the balcony every morning day and night, which can be neglected with hectic schedule whilst cruising the Mediterranean. The Royal ...

Good times on Royal Princess - Eastern Mediterranean Sept 2016!

We had been anticipating our first family cruise for quite a while. With an early fall break for the kids due to Eid, this seemed like the perfect time to get to some great ports of call. Original schedule had Rome, Istanbul, and Athens but unfortunately the Turkish ports were cancelled due to security. This was disappointing but out of our hands. The addition of Montenegro turned out to be a ...

We choose this cruise for the ports in Turkey and Malta. As results of the security situation in Turkey the cruise was rescheduled to other ports such as Corfu and Kotor. We were not happy with this change but understand why the the change made for our safety. This was our third time on this ship Royal Princess we love this ship, but this ship is starting to show its age. The ship was ...
