"We cruise Celebrity most of the time; most of the aspects of this cruise experience did not match up one for one to any Celebrity experience we've had, or to our prior experiences on Princess (admittedly about 10 years ago).3 different staff / officers gave us 3 different answers from "we're not having those on this cruise" (officer) to "2 chef's tables are already filled up, but we can wait list you" (staff) to "we don't think we'll be having those but we can put your name down in case they decide to have one"...."Read More

Having crossed the Atlantic last year from Southampton on the disappointed Sky Princess, our travel companions persuaded us to try again this year on the Enchanted Princess. This year was far better than last. We were disappointed to skip Funchal on the island of Madeira due to a strike by the Portugese harbor pilots and the substituted stop of Gran Canary was not nearly as good. Overall the ...

This was my first cruise since the pandemic.I noticed a real decline in the food and noticed soiled upholstery on much of the fabric furniture.Soiled carpets along our hallway to our cabin. This is the last ship to be built in its class.I sailed the Royal Princess in 2015 and there was no comparison! Some of the furniture seems more cheaply constructed like the sofa bed in our stateroom L216.The ...

Cost cutting is annoying but ship is beautiful

I wanted to try a royal class ship and picked the enchanted princess for the European ports. But as luck will have it . They had to cancel Madeira due to a naval pilot strike. The ship is beautiful, clean but is showing wear in the cabin and hallway carpets, and lumpy beds. The only annoying things are the cost cutting measures put in place. Note cost cutting words were used by Princess staff. ...

Please note, this is a long, detailed, log-like review. If you just want the summary and conclusions just scroll on down to the bottom! We traveled for 13 days before the cruise. A summary of pre-cruise travels: Porto was a “10” all around. Sintra a solid and enjoyable “8.” Florence perhaps a “3” if I am being generous. If we had to plan this again, we would have stayed longer in Porto and ...

I spent 26 days on the Enchanted Princess, sailing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale, November 10 – December 8, 2023. I’ve done about 50 ocean cruises and sailed on Celebrity, Royal, Cunard the most, though I’ve also sailed on HAL, NCL, Windstar and Princess. I’ve been a Celebrity loyalist for 20 years, but have really enjoyed Princess, first in June, and again on this trip. I thought the food ...

The Enchanted Princess is a Beautiful ship and we really enjoyed out time onboard during our 20 day Trans-Atlantic cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona x 2. First I will start with the boarding process which was an absolute breeze with the medallion pendant already in hand we were in the waiting lounge within minutes of arriving at the port. We quickly went up to the Lido deck and enjoyed a ...

This three week cruise was the trip of a lifetime. ALL of the crew that you came in contact were outstanding in their there servicing your requests. Even on the Lido Deck where on most ships it's a bit of a battle to get drinks etc. Not on this ship. They actually have enough crew up there to bring you anything you want. The formal service dining people are special people. This ship has ...

We were booked onto this cruise as part of a package to visit the south usa rhythm and blues music area. The cruise was to return to the UK by sea. The food was good , the entertainment moderate, the music venues were generaĺy too loud and conversation impossible. There are more or less no quiet areas any more. Luckily the boat was only 2/3 full so generaĺy not over busy. The main ...

We sailed the Grand Princess in October 2022 and it was a pretty poor cruise. When we discovered that another Princess cruise, aboard the Enchanted, was the only one that fit our timeline this spring, I didn’t expect much out of it. I am happy to say that I was wrong. The Grand had that ‘Motel 6,’ tired look and feeling, Enchanted was one of the better looking ships I have sailed. There were ...

Amazing Cruise. 5 Star service, food, entertainment. Staff very helpful. Recommend highly going on another cruise with Princess In 4 weeks . Balcony cabin spacious with lots of closet space, very comfortable bed & en suite , small but adequate. Always hot water & fresh towels every day. Medallion app worked quite well in general but for room service & service at pools etc sometimes not ...
