Transatlantic Sky Princess Transatlantic Cruise Reviews

Sky Princess moored for 3 days at the remote and totally useless facility they have the cheek to call the Brooklyn “Cruise Terminal”. Glorified cattle enclosure at best!
Very small balcony for a Mini suite although in fairness not much used on this Transatlantic cruise.

Hit and miss!
"We tried the three main dining rooms but preferred ‘Estrella’ which we used more frequently even though the food is identical in all of them and we found the service and welcome more friendly in Estrella plus we could usually get a window table if we were prepared to wait a short time. The back of the ship has a small infinity pool which takes up lots of space and also has loungers around it whereas it is the main outside dining space for the buffet...."Read More

in regards to the review some of it is from me , some is from my husband Cabin C 426 Mini Suite ( MA) Sky 10/29-11/12 Southampton UK - Cherbourg FR - Lisbon PT - Azores - Ft Lauderdale USA We arrived in London to find that our pre-cruise transfer was not there. We approached the lovely people from another line. They were kind enough to reach out to the known contact for Princess. ...

We were on the Sky Princess Inaugural Cruise in October 2019 from Athens to Barcelona, so we felt like we were coming back home. The Ship looks just as new as the first trip. We arrived at London Heathrow about 8 A.M. on Saturday, the day of departure. We had purchased a Princess transfer to the Ship. The Princess representatives gathered a group of us, and we had a wait of about 40 minutes. ...

Summary first: In short, we had value for money even with the added cost of the Premium package as we could drink proper champagne and ‘Whispering Angel’ Cotes de Provence rose wine throughout the voyage. There were some positives but also negatives with this cruise such that we wouldn’t book a Princess cruise again. The cabin was excellent (mini suite) with a very good layout having the sofa ...

A Transatlantic adventure

Our third attempt to make a visit, previous efforts cancelled due to pandemic and health. Whilst not our original itinerary, we thought it would give us an opportunity to tick some of the boxes. Pre- embarkation information trickled in to us gradually, but a lot of information was not easy to find. Filling in all forms before em arking was supposed to ease the process, so why was the 'green ...

was onboard for 23 days and went to eastern carib week prior to 16 day transatlantic crossing....We skipped saint thomas due to too many cases of covid onboard and overnighted in saint maarten but was docked with 6 other ships. Super busy port. During the 16 day transatlantic we had no internet whatsoever. They mentioned it had something to do with changing from one satellite to another. Skipped ...

Expect to have no emails, texts, Facebook, Twitter, WiFi calling, maps, weather service, etc. until in port and you can provide your own service. Two ports of five canceled, The Azores & Casablanca, Morocco on a cruise called “The Moroccan Passage”. 16 day cruise from Saturday, 3-12-22, Ft. Lauderdale to Europe. The first evening WiFi was slow at 1-3 Mbps on Speedtest.Net. They claim ...

We chose this cruise for its ports...the Azores were cancelled 2* to high waves and Morocco was cancelled because paperwork was not completed...no indication who did not complete the paperwork. CONS Ran out of supplies before they left the dock ie no brandy to trade for the scotch in complimentary bar setup. Attempted to get a permanent seat for supper, but were told that we should have ...

My shipmate and I booked this cruise after the MSC Seashore TA cruise was suddenly cancelled. In the end this was a godsend as the Sky Princess turned out to be absolutely the best possible voyage. Boarding the ship was a breeze in Southampton - took half an hour to drop baggage, get Covid tested, and pick up Medallion. The ship is gorgeous! Very tasteful and no water slides, carousels ...

In order to give you perspective, we chose this ship based on the fact we had sailed on the Regal on five different occasions and were excited to sail on the Sky during her inaugural season, we have also sailed on Princess’ Grand and Crown class ships but prefer the Royal class ships, having said that, we have enjoyed every cruise with Princess. Embarkation: We embarked in Barcelona, although ...

We were so excited to be going on a transatlantic cruise, as well as having several stops in Spain and Portugal. We had been told there would be many activities on board on sea days, but we didn't find that to be the case. There was little to do. The schedule looks pretty full, but on further evaluation, many of the "activities" were simply drop-by type things, like pricing the artwork or spa ...
