Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Regal Princess

The online checkin was easy. The Medallion app worked fine at home. However, on ship it’s another story. Princess offered free Covid testing in Rome, a very nice service. After testing negative we were guided to the checking area. This area was a mess! There were many different lines that were confusing to most passenger. We were booked on a S3 suite which included priority embarkation. No ...

We sailed on the Sky from 11/10/19 - 11/17/19. The ship is beautiful and huge. Cabin: Our mini-suite was roomy (for a cruise cabin). There were several outlets (both US and Europe) so we didn't need our extension cord with extra outlets. There are also USB outlets in the lamps. The issue that we had with the cabin (E202) was that we could hear music. We were not sure if it was from the ...

We chose this cruise because of the wonderful Mediterranean and Adriatic itinerary which began in Rome. For 21 of our 28 days we sailed into great ports and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The last seven days we relaxed as we sailed back to Fort Lauderdale. A dream trip to be sure. We have been home for almost three weeks, and have had time to reflect on our experience. The ship is lovely ...

Kind of Disappointed with the New Sky Princess

We sailed on the third cruise of Sky Princess, 7 days in the Med. This was our 19th Princess Cruise so we do have a basis of comparison. I echo the sentiment of a previous reviewer about the inadequate elevators. The forward bank of elevators, outside of the Princess Theater, had only three of the four elevators in operation for the entire cruise. This is one of the busiest locations on the ...

Chose this cruise because of great port diversity: Rome, Kotor, Dubrovnik, Athens, Santorini, South France, Barcelona, Morocco and more. And Because we always have enjoyed Princess and specifically the Emerald. Room was great, see below. cabin steward outstanding. Ship has been updated nicely. Service in main DR was outstanding. Unfortunately the food was terrible! which was a big ...

Some good and some not so...but on the whole a good family holiday.

We are a family of 6 - 3 generations consisting of 80 year olds x 2, late 40’s x2 and 2 children 8 and 12. The booking experience was not great with the dining time being changed from 6.30pm to 5.00pm without our knowledge and the on board packages being altered on the day we were booking them. However, we were determined to enjoy the holiday and we did. The ship in our opinion is very good, ...

Excellent in many ways but badly let down by poor staff attitude throughout.

Ship was not tired as others had advised and we thought it was in good condition. Embarkation and disembarkation were excellent and UK Customs Checks happened on board 2/3 days before docking at Southampton. Restaurants were all excellent and we ate in 8 of them. Food was fantastic, however the service from the waiting staff was at best, variable. From shocking to good.Horizons was the worst ...

Always wanted to cross an ocean as an immigrant to Canada. This was our first cross Atlantic cruise, our first on Princess and the first ever cruise for my partner. The boat was very good. We had a great time on this trip. We were in Europe for 2 weeks before embarking visiting Paris and Rome each for a week. The staff was great. The restaurants were to our taste quite too similar. ...

If you are desire a long rest, a Transatlantic Cruise is an ideal escape. This was our first, taken on the recommendation of friends. The staff, food and service were excellent. There was an interesting speaker each morning for one half hour, no guest speakers for the remainder of the day. There should have been another speaker for an afternoon session, not just staff from the spa talking on ...

We have wanted to do a repositioning cruise for a long time. Celebrity was sold out so this was our second choice and turned out to be second class or worse in the food catagory. One of my main cruise purposes is to partake of the great variety of food offerings usually available at formal dining and in the buffet. The Crown Princess food was without a doubt the poorest quality of any of the ...
