Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Royal Princess

Everywhere we went there was noise and music all the time. The only place we could find peace and quiet was in our cabin. We booked a trip to Europe and everything was "American" on the ship. I felt like we were in the USA. Breakfasts were terrible - fast food. Hot food was ice cold. We thought we could have a leisurely breakfast in the dining room during sea days but it closed at 9:00 am. The ...

Good cruise but food & entertainment patchy

Embarkation was easy in Rome and our cabin size was as expected & comfortable. The balcony is a bit small but adequate. We used anytime dining and as we were happy to share never waited very long. The restaurant food was patchy and one night awful, I think they want you to go for their paid restaurants! Entertainment - theatre was v good especially the soul show. Other venues were often closed ...

Wanted to try Princess. We've been on several lines and heard that Princes was good. We were a bit disappointed compared to others we've taken. I'd say, the overall cruise was good, but below average compared to other lines. The room service was great, in fact all of the service was great. They had trouble with properly cooking red meat and sea food. I seriously recommend avoiding the "crab ...

Nice ship but not as expected

Picked this cruise because we have used Princess before. The ship was new and originally going to places we desired. However, troubles in Turkey saw port cancellations, port triple up and rescheduling. Eight of the 10 Princess tours we took were quite ok, even for the price. However, although the Amalfi Coast was great the Naples bus tour guide was terrible. Too much extra-sales baggage to ...

our first suite after 21 princess cruises. Chinese influenced ship (we thought slow boat to china) and all new musicals chance to reaffirm our faith see places I served in. Food usual princess quality, ports changed a privledge of princess. Only one musical not 3 as advertised but it was very good. Chinese specialty food cold and mediocre the time we tried it. Tours were moderate to stress on ...

Mediterranean Land excursions fantastic but not so much on board the ship

We are Royal Carrabean cruisers and first time with Princess. One of a few cruises that included Rhodes in their itenerary. We spent 3 weeks on board. The ship is intended for the Chinese market. That is fair enough, BUT doing a Mediterranean cruise, we expected a bit of the local cuisine as most on board at least over 2000 we're from US, Canada, Australia and UK. Chinese were not the majority on ...

My Wife and I chose this cruise mainly due to its Mediterranean Itinerary as we had not cruised with Princess before. The destinations themselves were all great to visit - although there were some issue with the itinerary changing. With three weeks on board, we ended up visiting Kotor three times, which although a lovely place, became a bit much. Cruise itself was not up to the standard of ...

we chose this cruise to meet up with relatives on the ship who had travelled from Canada, We were disappointed with the entertainment we had to wait for 2 weeks for the one and only big spend show by the resident company. The food was poor in the Allegro set time dinning not very imaginative cold and please do not have the short ribs a mix of grissle and fat the menu was repeated for the second ...

We choose this cruise for the ports of call, which were all good. But the ship albeit shiny new and very clean was very disappointing the entertainment was very poor, only one show all week, pianist on several times a day, boring after the first time, string quartet good but again every day. Small band ok but bit past it, disc jockey playing music for young teens only, very little other ...

We booked this cruise as seeing the ads for the new Majestic Princess it looked spectacular, and who wouldn't want to be one of the first to try it. For me it just didn't have any wow factor. The atrium was nice but that's it, no thinking this is fabulous. We like to spend our evenings having a few drinks in bars but there are only 3 on Majestic with very Iimited seating, this I was told was ...
