We had heard numerous concerns - engine issues, ac not working in staterooms and common areas - prior to our departure. While we were concerned we hoped all would be well once boarded. The positive: We sailed with our 2 teens and had 2 aft penthouse suites. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, albeit dated. The main dining room was solid fare ( Crown Grill is lackluster with horrible service and a disengaged staff.) The chefs table was one of the only highlights.  entertainment is lackluster; never have we seen so many people leave mid way through an act!

The biggest issue was missed and late arrival to ports. Princess staff seemed overwhelmed and not able to manage the number of delayed or missed excursions. Tender situation in Belize is chaotic and not worth getting off ship. Cozumel arrival was also delayed and resulted in similar issues. Overall, Princess just no longer feels like a premium line. Keep shopping and do your research. We wish we would have done a bit more!
