This was our first cruise back with Princess since Covid. We have sailed many times with them before. Firstly let me say that the crew were great and boarding and disembarkation were a dream. (as usual) Our room was a balcony and was very comfortable although, as usual no sofa. The shower was tiny and allowed for no movement. Formalities to do with safety were quick and easy.
Whilst we had ...
Booked this cruise months ago when the booking re opened here in Australia.
Wish I had booked something longer as just settled in and then off again. 3 Nights way too short.
The embarkation process was a breeze, much easier and faster than ever before. The crew were so welcoming and glass to be back.
The ship was immaculately clean and empty. Only about 70% booked so easy to get a seat by ...
Our first cruise post - covid, and with a new cruise line for us. We really didn't pick Princess, it picked us, at it fit within our travel plans to QLD. That said we were very excited to try Princess, and we have a couple of Elite Princess friends.
Starting at the beginning, the embarkation process was a breeze at Brisbane (the trip to the terminal though is less inspiring). The only thing to ...
We originally booked this cruise to have a break from work as my husband and I are self-employed. You can't help but relax on this beautiful ship. However, my head agency (I'm a travel agent), made this cruise our conference cruise. So this worked in really well for me.
The crew on the ship are so happy to be back. They were so welcoming and nothing was a problem. They would all say "Hello" as ...
I filed the following complaint on September 10, 2022, and Princess won't answer. Something to think about when booking your next cruise with them.
Question or Comment:
1) The 1st night, security accused us of bringing marijuana and smoking it in our room.
2) I paid for the package with WiFi and only had service about 4 out of 16 days. I work remotely FT & was told I would have ...
We stopped in Greenland (Nanortalik) during an Iceland/Trans-Atlantic cruise in 2013. It was our favorite stop of the cruise, and we always wanted to go back. When Princess introduced this 16-day Canada/Greenland cruise out of New York, we booked it.
We really enjoyed the cruise. The crew were very friendly and helpful. Our inside cabin was very comfortable, and overall the ship is in good ...
We chose this cruise because one of us wanted to visit Greenland. The ship was sailing in fog.most of the time. It was cold so there was no pool time for everyone except a few polar bear club members. That made the rest of the ship more crowded. Finding seats at trivia and a few other events was tough. Even the theatre would be too full. The outside entertainment was sadly really poor. There were ...
Wanted to see New York, Newfoundland. Too many sea days . Too cold to go on pool deck. (My fault for not doing better homework) . No enclosed pool or heated pools. Missed first port in Greenland due to rough water, 4 days of Fog day and night. Really unless your into Geography or Inuit heritage there is not much to see in Greenland. Did see icebergs. No sea life . Did not see any whales ...
The Greenland itinerary was the only reason for this cruise and even though we missed Nuuk, the other two ports there made the trip worthwhile. Refunds for the shuttle from LaGuardia for an over 2 hour wait, full refund for the medallion Internet that seldom worked, refunds for the missed shore excursion in Nuuk and refunds for the taxes left a large credit on my account that can only be got by a ...
Transfers from the airport to ship and return were disastrous. Embarkation was not organized website check in, then again, we had to enter the same information on our Medallion app. Once more at the embarkation desk, process was redundant besides time consuming. Medallions were not mailed out, so we had to go to another line to claim them. The accommodation was ok but with loud noise daily, I ...
