Fantastic Family Journey
Amazing sights, amazing ship.
Shore excursions could not have been better.
Ship personnel were friendly and courteous
The food and restaurants were top notch.
Cabin was comfortable and the view from our balcony was outstanding. We were midship so , for the most part, any ship motion was virtually imperceptible.
The itinerary could not have been planned ...
We chose this cruise as a wedding anniversary treat, looking for a romantic setting, lots going on but not a party atmosphere, and not overrun with kids. The ship delivered perfectly. There was always plenty to see and do, and places on the ship that catered to adults only. The ship was busy, but there were never long lineups anywhere, even for free pizza, burgers or ice cream on the top deck. The ...
This was our first week long cruise and our first to Alaska. It was wonderful The staff on the ship is amazing. So polite and accommodating. We did not find one person that wasn't willing to help. Service staff is everywhere. Others have complained about the service but I cannot imagine what their problem was. We did not have to wait long for anything. And my daughter was always looking to fill ...
Royal Princess was chosen because it left from Vancouver, its ports of call and cruising through Glacier Bay National Park and the College Fiord. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. We loved our standard balcony room. We used the balcony every day!! Had fun during the day with trivia. Danced more than we every had with great musicians. Wished there had been more musical programs ...
Visiting Alaska has been on our bucket list for some time. Princess Cruises has a stellar reputation when it comes to Alaskan Cruises and was highly recommended by our Travel Advisor.
The ship has been beautifully redone in the past few years and the cabins and amenities are top notch. The ship offers a wide variety of daily activities but on and off the ship. We had a starboard cabin which ...
The cruise was awesome. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant except for one and I chalk that up for just having a bad day. We all of them occasionally. The reason I say this is, every time we saw this person after the "not so good" day, they were always in a pleasant professional mood. Even though Princess states the Coral was completely refurbished a few years ago - it really is ...
We were on the Island Princess for one week Alaskan cruise Northbound (July 31, 2019 to Aug, 7, 2019) traveling from Vancouver to Whittier. We really enjoyed this itinerary, Voyage of the Glaciers, and the ship! With approximately 2200 passengers, we never felt crowded or lost. We particularly enjoyed having a room toward the front of the ship as the Horizon buffet was also at the front, and it ...
We wanted to see he coast of Alaska and had cruised with Princess before. They offered a package that included airfare, transportation and the cruise. We enjoyed everything. My husband uses a motorized scooter on the ship. All the ports and lots of the excursions could accommodate the scooter. Touring the Glaciers was incredible! Especially College fjord. Having a Naturalist as per of the ...
We went on this very 1st cruise as a family (2 parents in their 50's & 3 adult children in their 20's in a separate room). I picked this ship and itinerary after hours of researching the best option for us. I knew I really wanted to be on a smallish ship that could get close to Hubbard Glacier and take us thru Granite Bay (Captain Todd McBain did a fantastic job getting us within 1/4 mile to ...
We loved everything about our land and sea cruise with Princess! The ship was gorgeous. Our mini suite was spotless with a balcony large enough for two. The food on ship was excellent, especially Sabatini's - our favorite meal! Alfredo's pizza was also delicious. It's a very popular place for lunch so we didn't mind waiting 10 minutes. The wait staff was very professional at all dining venues. ...
