My wife and I had a fabulous experience on the Crown Princess. The itinerary was amazing, visiting Princess Cays, Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Thomas and St. Kitts. The service on board, including our stateroom steward, the staff at the International Cafe and the staff in the Michelangelo Dinning Room was excellent. The food was amazing, although the food in the Salty Dog Gastropub was disappointing. We enjoyed the Crab Shack experience. We thought the International Cafe was a great place to grab breakfast and lunch. The morning pastries were amazing! We appreciated all of the things we got to do on board including the two lectures about sharks, the gingerbread making contest and the comedy shows. We took the Ultimate Ship Tour on the final day, which was a great tour, although a little overpriced. The embarkation process was extremely fast. Although there were 3,000 passengers on board we never felt like it was crowded. I will note that the morning fitness center hours were a little limited. It didn’t open until 7 am and you could not use the treadmills until 8 am. That meant that there was a crowd for the other cardio equipment in the morning. I will also add that the drinks seemed watered down. I had straight bourbon, so it was not an issue for me, but my wife had cocktails, which seemed weak. Read Less

We sailed the December 22, 2019 to Jan 5, 2020 Caribbean Connoisseur cruise. I have always wanted to sail on the Pacific Princess since I was a little girl watching the Love Boat. Although it isn't the same boat as the show, Pacific is a beauty! We enjoyed a smaller ship. It was easy to get around and find places to read, have a nice conversation and just relax. We liked that we could mingle with other guests and really get to know people. It was two weeks of Heaven! The food was great, the service was fantastic and the itinerary was out of this world!! I would highly recommend sailing on a smaller ship. Loved it!! It was definitely an older crowd which was not an issue for us at all. We really liked a more personal cruise and made some lovely new friends of all ages. We would have liked some more up to date music and offer activities for those of us in our 30's and 40's. We heard lots of music from the 50's and 60's which wasn't terrible but some more variety would have been nice. Check in was easy and friendly. We got right to our cabin but we did have to bring up our own luggage which was odd but we at least had it right away. I guess this isn't the norm but we were one of the last few to board and it was only around 1:00-1:30pm. Our cabin was clean and adequate. The closet was small for a two week cruise but we managed and utilized the desk drawers and cabinet next to the closet. The balcony was a good size for the two of us. The bathroom is typical...small but does the job. The hair dryer is attached to the wall above the toilet. A little strange but it worked fine. The buffet area was easy to navigate and had lots of choices most days but it was very hot in there most of the time. Sit on the side where the coffee bar is, it is a little bit cooler on that side. The staff there was very friendly. There were many choices for breakfast but it seemed to be nearly the same each morning. Sit down breakfast is available in the main dining room on non port days or when the ship pulls into port later in the morning/early afternoon. Lunch in the buffet had lots of choices from hot items like fish, chicken wings, various salads (warm and cold), sandwiches, soups, rice dishes, vegetarian choices, desserts including ice cream and lots of other items. We had late seating in the main Dining Room. Food was good and service was great! We really enjoyed our table mates as well. We had lots of fun every night. The ship was recently dry docked. I thought the decor was tasteful and elegant. The grand staircase is lovely. The ship seemed to be in good shape and all areas were clean. The best part of a small ship is no crowded areas, very few lines anywhere (if any at all), places to sit around the pool as well as other common areas. The library was well stocked as well as the card room. There were always seats for the movies and shows in the Cabaret Lounge. The Pacific Lounge was my favorite as it had great views from just about everywhere and there were plenty of places to stay cool and sit and read on a hot port day or play trivia with new friends. If you're a gambler, be advised the casino is very small but again, it wasn't usually very crowded and the bar was a generous size. There is a piano entertainment area just around the corner so you can listen to music and play 3 card poker or the slots! They also have bingo in this area on certain days. We started off as Ruby and made it to Platinum by the end of the cruise so we did do our own laundry to cut down on what we packed. There is a self serve laundry on deck 7 port side. It was right down the hall from our cabin, 7042. It takes tokens and as of our sailing, you have to get tokens from the front desk. Bring your own laundry detergent. I bring pods and some dryer sheets to cut down on costs. It's $3.00 each for a wash and dry and $1.50 for a box of detergent. We hit some rough seas on the first two sea days and it was a challenge for some. Barf bags were placed all over the ship and some passengers were not happy. It is what it is just make sure you prepare. I use scopolomine patches and have little to no issues. Many used Bonine or Dramamine and were fine. Just know this is an older smaller ship and you will feel some movement more so than on larger, newer ships. Overall we liked this cruise and got to go to many destinations we hadn't been to before. I would highly recommend the Pacific Princess if you want to try a smaller ship without the bells and whistles of the oversize mega ships. No lines, no crowds, no screaming children running wild (nothing against kids at all), no chair hogs, no crowded pool or hot tubs etc. We love Princess and we would definitely sail on Pacific Princess again if we had the chance to. Christmas is a difficult time with having step-families, and families unable to get together on Christmas Day, so we decided this year to do something different. We're in our autumnal years and don't do the Christmas hype, so it was brilliant to find a cruise that had us sailing away over that time - no stress! We love this idea so much we have booked another one, with Princess Cruises, for next Christmas / New Year. We are heading to New Zealand. Another thing we loved about this cruise was that it was out of Perth and we didn't have to fly anywhere; not that we mind, as a cruise is always worth it. As a writer, I find there were so many places on board to write. And looking at the beautiful ocean is very cathartic. Who wouldn't be inspired to write their next novel? The dining rooms were excellent, and the general eating area was good too. Food was in plentiful supply, so I'm thankful for elasticated waists and loose clothing! And for not having to shop, prepare and cook for over two weeks ... and at Christmas. LUXURY! The staff were incredibly friendly, yet professional, in everything they did. I also noted many acts of kindness to the very senior people on the cruise, of which there were quite a few. They were a great bunch, reliving their teenage years I think! There was a real mixture of passengers; quite a few families, and extended families as well. The Christmas spirit was alive, and the ship was decorated beautifully. Do yourselves a favour and book a cruise. You'll love it. Read Less

I have never been on a cruise before and, I have to admit that I will never forget this experience. The embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. Our mini-suite room was great: comfortable bed, air-conditioned, safe box, minibar, movies on demand and the ensuite bathroom that was small but pleasant. Anytime dining was just amazing. Lots of quality food options were available - Mexican, Italian, French, vegetarian. My favorite place was BAKERY :) The room service is so quick and there were no separate charges. It was a 12-nights on the cruise and has no boring moments because the cruise has a wide range of entertainment programmes throughout the day. Also, it was so big that you will find a new place every day when you explore it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The events organized by cruise were fabulous :) Fully recommended this ship to all age group of people. Read Less

Selected cruise for its Hawaiian ports and warm weather plus sailing on the Grand via San Francisco. Amazing cruise, amazing service by Grand Princess staff, and beautiful islands. Highly recommend Grand Princess for its world class service, wonderful and warm staff, and clean ship. Though it's an older ship, staff work hard to maintain the Grand Princess, and officers and staff were present throughout the ship 24/7. Had an excellent cabin steward and professional and wonderful dining room wait staff. Amazing trip onboard the beautiful Grand Princess! Like our waiter, Jonel Bola said, "The Grand Princess is known for #1 service out of its entire fleet of 18 vessels." The entire dining room staff was amazing and wonderful to all its dining passengers. The food was good, plenty of desserts to choose from, and staff are generous with service, extras/portions, drinks, and smiles! All staff throughout the ship were kind, courteous, warm, and provided consistent service and were very hard working. Service throughout the ship was consistent and amazing! Ship Captain, JP Bryant, was very nice and courteous and always greeted passengers pleasantly. This was a 16-day cruise! Have done shorter and longer cruises, but a 16-day is a perfect amount of time for a winter getaway! I highly recommend the beautiful Grand Princess! Others might be concerned that it's an older ship but I find it to be quaint, comfortable, has character, beautiful, has internet service, and has excellent and consistent customer service. I've sailed on the Grand 6 times and each time I've experienced consistent customer service! And, if something wasn't right, staff will work quickly and very hard to make the problem right! No complaints when I'm on the Grand! Read Less

This was our 12th ocean cruise (Seabourn, Cunard, Celebrity, HAL, RC) and first on Princess. Our expectations for such a large ship during the New Years week were not real high and I am pleased to say Princess exceeded them by day 3. The ship sparkles and everything works (except the Ocean Ready app). Embarkation was remarkably smooth given the passenger overload (3900+ with 600 kids). We quickly found our way around. The only snag was late delivery of one bag, but it made it before the first seating. Nice cabin (Caribe deck balcony, C521) on the small side as expected. Good storage, some bedding blocking under bed storage but 2 large bags did fit. Bathroom spotless and smallish. Cabin steward rarely seen, but she did an excellent job. We selected traditional dining, early (5 PM) seating. Our alcove has space for a family of 40 and a table for 2 (us). I feared we would need to request a seating change but our neighbors were thoughtful and pleasant. We enjoyed their company! Seating is always a bit chancy of course, so we lucked out. Service staff average to good. The buffet service staff was exceptional! Really, they were attentive, efficient and pleasant. The ship was crowded, but we had no trouble with clean seating. Breakfast, most lunches, one dinner (late excursion) were all good experiences. The Bavarian buffet on our late excursion day was excellent with plenty of variety and good food. They could improve their spelling (Barbarian meatloaf - LOL). Marichi trio was excellent and they played easy listening, dancable tunes beyond classic Mexican fare. Other groups were okay, except one piano player's voice - she was grating to the ears. Production shows were okay, but we don't cruise for the shows. The comedian (2 nights) had some irritating mannorisms. Despite that, I was in tears the second show! We had to move around a great deal to find suitable ballroom style dancing, but we enjoyed all seven nights in multiple venues with different groups. The DJ drove us out of one venue because he played the music way too loud - Don't they all these days? OSHA would require ear protection... We generally don't review shore excursions, but our Cabo whale watching was fantastic. For 2 hours, 12-15 blows every 15 minutes, one about 30 feed from the boat! I don't think I would find such intense watching ever again, so won't even try! The ocean Ready app was very poor. I was constantly logging back in. It may have been better if we had purchased internet, however for a 7 day trip we want to escape and don't bother. Only significant low point is the breakfast room service menu. Only entree option is the Princess version of an Egg McMuffin! Shame on them! Getting off the ship was a breeze. Would we do it again? We put down a future cruise deposit, so the answer is yes. For the right itinerary and dates, Princess is on the list for future trips. Read Less

I’m new to cruising, so Princess was the 4th different line I’ve tried out, and it was by far my favorite I may be easy to please, but the medallion class is now my preferred way to cruise! The touchscreens near the elevators were easy to use and understand, I sincerely enjoyed being able to find my shipmates anywhere on the ship without having to keep cell phones on us. I was able to find out what activities were going on easily and make my selections. The shows were wonderful, Broadway quality, and we enjoyed four different shows during our cruise. Being able to order drinks poolside and have them delivered to us, rather than standing around waiting at the bar was also a great experience! The room service was excellent, and the cabin steward was terrific also! All around, this was my favorite cruise after having been on MSC, Carnival, and Holland America lines. Read Less

After cruising Alaska on Princess Cruise with friends many years ago, we (myself&Hubby)decide to take another opportunity and cruise again in December 2019 over the new year to cross the Panama Canal and start the new year and decade celebrating life onboard Island Princess. And glad am I, we did!!! Our experience was a 5star journey from the beginning ‘til the end. I will start with the embarkation in FortLauderdale where everything was well organized and we didn’t have to wait a minute(even if the cruise was fully booked).A tip to my fellow travelers:if you can, get to the port early to avoid crowds and long lines. We felt like VIP’s since we board the ship in less than 5minutes.Once we got to our room, everything is history because 10days have been filled with happy moments and great memories we will remember and share for a lifetime. For new year eve, all guests were spoiled with fine dining experience and later on the captain come down to greet and wish everyone onboard a Happy new year! and the champagne was flowing like a river. The party moved from inside to the deck outside where we did the countdown into the new decade together.Happy new year!!! This was our second trip to the Mexican Riviera. As before, Princess offers superb service to everyone. Our excursions were great, and I must mention that we visited Salsa and Salsa in Mazatlan for the second time and it was great again! We don't get excited about the singing and dancing shows, but the Brent and Sarah magic show was good and A. J. Jamal was hilarious both nights. We could have seen his show every night. The piano crooner was not as good as before (A. J. Clarke is phenomenal), but Crooners bar has excellent service. The Cruise Director, Marcus, was a hoot and was readily available for questions, a quick chat, or a friendly wave. Very high energy. Embarkation and disembarkation were both highly organized and quick. Very classy ship, service, and meals. Our waiters were also phenomenal and we missed them as soon as we left. We would definitely go again, and we will always choose Princess. Read Less

We really enjoyed Eating at the complimentary Alfredo’s Pizzeria ,sit down restaurant, There were many delicious food options to choose from at the Horizon Buffet , and the dining room experience is always our favourite. The piazza provides a perfect area to relax and enjoy some live entertainment while enjoying a sweet treat or drink . Using the ocean medallion was very convenient and we enjoyed this option. Embarkation was much easier and faster using this option. We found that The crew were friendly and very helpful. They were very efficient ,especially considering how new this ship is, We enjoyed everything about this ship ! We would certainly rebook a cruise with this ship. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we had not visited most of these ports yet and Princess is our primary cruise line. We also wanted to experience Sky Princess, since it's the newest ship we have ever cruised. We enjoyed it greatly. It's a beautiful ship. We had hired Victor Rosales of Mahahaul EcoTours for a day of birding in Costa Maya. We went to several different areas and saw some colorful species that were new to us. Victor also included a delicious lunch at a little beach-side cafe in Mahahual. He is well-trained, educated and experienced and speaks fluent English as well as his native Spanish. He also does other types of tours as well, specializing in small groups. I would be happy to use Victor again anytime. While in Cozumel, we took the Princess excursion to Tulum. Our tour guide, Marco Polo, was great and quite informative. While in Roatan, we contacted Jensen Wesley and he drove us to the Carambola Gardens as well as Sandy Bay where I was able to do some great snorkeling. We enjoyed being off the beaten track there so it was not crowded with people. Jensen was very helpful and we were lucky to connect with him. Sky Princess is a bit larger ship than we usually book but it did not feel crowded most of the time. However, anytime dining did have long waits if one went to dinner after about 6:00pm, which we usually do. Food in all venues was excellent. We did not use the specialty restaurants. Our balcony stateroom was super and even though quite forward, ship motion was very minimal. Captain Tuvo of Sky Princess is a real treat too. The fitness room is well equipped. The casino is good and has a computerized Texas Holdem table that made for some good poker games. The Medallion system worked well on board although we did not download the app for use on our phones. The ship's internet was the fastest we have ever used on a cruise. Read Less

There was a lot of gray hair on this cruise, including my own. The ship was prepared for the cruisers with the selection of music played throughout the ship, both live and canned, were age appropriate . There were two levels of adult only pool areas, one free and for a fee. The best part was the minimum announcements. Due to location, we have cruised mostly with Carnival, but no more. The Carnival CD's (and those on RCCL and NCL) make too many sales pitches under the guise of information. The food on Lido was very good including my favorites Indian and Mexican. The bread/rolls were also excellent, hard on the outside and soft in the middle. Entertainment included only one comedian, wished for more, and a Beatles Mania show. Both were great, Come early to get a seat. The stateroom, beyond the usual, had a 46" LCD TV, not only that, it had live TV shows and recorded TV shows and movies for free! After a hard day of eating and lounging in the sun, it was a pleasure to be a couch potato for a few hours. Service was excellent, keep up the great job Denchai, our cabin steward. Embarkation and disembarkation smooth and at least 40 minutes ahead of schedule. Read Less

We went down on the 10 day To Barbados as a nice warm area there. We liked the time of year in January to escape the snows at home. Princess has good reviews and the cruise and food was great! We ate one night in the steak house and it was great and only cost an extra $28. Apiece and an excellent meal! All of the dinners in the main dining room were great every night! A good menu with a wide variety of selections and every night a new menu was very nice! The dining service was superb by our waiter Joel! Don’t buy the bar drink package it is overpriced at $700. Apiece and you can’t share it. No way could we have drank the 15 drink a days it offered! Our whole bar bill for 2 of us was less than that! And do bring on your own case of water and 2 bottles of wine for your room. I don’t like paying $2. Plus for bottles of water 5x a day! The spa was great I had several massages and Mildred the masseuse is the best! The daily lectures were very good to by staff. The fitness center was great and Igor the trainer was great! Very few come to the classes and it was really worth buying the class card as you get individual attention and training! The fitness center and spa are very clean to! The stateroom was very clean and twice daily service was very nice! Our steward Joel on the Emerald deck was great and the best ever! Since our cruise could not stop at 3 ports due to bad weather then Princess gave everyone a 35 percent credit off next cruise to use within a year. I thought this was very nice of them! I will definitely cruise with Princess again the service and food was superb! Read Less

This is our 10th cruise with Princess and first on the Royal ( though we have sailed on her sister the Regal 2xs) . The ship was wonderful, from the mid ship balcony room to the lux Thermal Suite ( called “Enclave”). The only downside was one of the two production shows had technical difficulties and could not be shown. We didn’t care much for the comedian or vocalists. But HUGE upside -The Diamond Trio! They played every day in the Piazza and at night in Wheelhouse bar. They gave us many opportunities to dance! Very good musicians ! Also Zumba instructor Nat was the best I’ve had in all 10 cruises! Overall we had a great time. Princess does needs to update their MDR menus, as they are showing their age and sameness. Our excursion in Cabo “Santa Maria Sail and Snorkel” was one of the most fun we’ve ever taken. Would definitely do it again. We booked the estuary cruise in Mazatlan against my better judgement. Mazatlan is full of trash and everywhere they took us -the harbor, the estuaries, the coconut plantation- were covered in garbage. Clean up your act Mazatlan! PV excursion to Majahuitas and Yelapa was pretty fun-Yelapa not so great. If you want to buy ANYTHING in Yelapa bring pesos, because they won’t make change in American and will swindle you on the exchange rate. The Princess Sea of Cortez Cruise was outstanding! The ports of La Paz and Loreto are not visited often and remind me of what Puerto Vallarta and Cabo were like decades ago. We chose to make this a relaxing cruise and did not take any excursions, but we walked around all 4 ports and loved doing that. The Star Princess is an older ship but it is well maintained and a perfect size, not too big or small. The production shows were underwhelming, but the smaller venue entertainers were excellent. Cruise Director Gary Golding is one of the best on the seas, and his staff was fun and omni-present. And there was not a single crew member that we interacted with that wasn’t helpful and friendly! I have never been on a cruise before and I came in with little to no expectations and a positive attitude. At first I was overwhelmed with amount of action going on and the small rooms, food etc. But after the initial first day, which was stressful because of flying and nothing with the Princess cruise line, everything worked out. Sure, we did not go on one of our port stops due to weather, but safety was the priorty and I understood that. Also, the staff was INCREDIBLE!! Everyone was so personal, kind and nice! Spoiled me rotten from such great service. Entertainment was great and the whole time I was enjoying, having a blast and was always satisfied with everything. And if at any point I had any issues, they were quickly resolved. The game shows and entertainment was too notch, they have things for kids, teens and in betweens. And obviously adults and older adults as well. We watched a movie outside and ate ice cream, I mean what could be better? So all in all, the best vacation of my life. I would totally reccomend. For a lot of people who complain on these forums, these people are natural complainers so I would take it with a grain of salt. I had an awesome time and would 100000 percent reccommend. Read Less

Great anytime dining experience, the 'Vines' wine bar was a great way to socialize before dinner. Piazza entertainment each night while having a glass before dinner. Stateroom was clean and well kept by our able steward. The ports were all interesting in their own way, Dominica was still suffering the effects of a past hurricane, organization was lacking here. Movies under the Stars was a little hit or miss, sometimes the sound was just bad. Theatre productions were all top notch, the comedians were both very entertaining and kept it clean, thanks for that. The Medallion experience is very convenient, allowing you to access your drink package anywhere, anytime. Every beer on their menu was covered by the package and very few cocktails were excluded based on the $12 cap. You just pay the extra buck or two on your folio if your drink cost more than the cap. I tried mixed cocktails I would never otherwise pay for in real life! Fabulous coffee bars, I suggest going to the Coffee & Cones for your morning 'Americano', no line up. Usually a short line at the International Cafe coffee bar. Liquor bars everywhere! Wheelhouse was a great spot for a pre-dinner drink, often had a singer, guitarist performing. My wife and I have multiple things to celebrate (35th anniversary, both healthy after medical scares, etc...) and decided that a two week cruise through the Panama Canal was just the ticket. We enjoyed everything about the cruise. Both embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our last 2 cruises were on RCL and the staff on those ships treated us like we were annoying if we asked for anything. On this trip on the Emerald, the staff treated us wonderfully, from the front desk to our steward, the dining room, and bar staff. We spent a lot of time at the back of the ship by Terrace Pool. The bartender and staff learned our names and called them out whenever we walked out onto the deck! We splurged more than normal on this cruise and had a mini-suite. We loved the extra room and spent quite a bit of time on the balcony. The only minor complaint would be that the couch in our room seemed quite old and uncomfortable. It should be replaced. The food was pretty good. I found it to be more of a variety than other cruises I've been on, but still got to be repeated too much on a 15 day cruise. But, we did not go hungry! We had some wonderful excursions, and the trip through the canal was awesome! The commentary offered was really great. We also met some really nice people from all over the world. We chose this 7 day cruise to try out Princess again after sailing many years with Holland America Line. HAL has decided to remove their Big Production Shows and replace them with BBC Earth and we have found it not fulfilling enough, especially while being on a 36 day cruise not knowing ahead of time about the cancellation of the shows. Having a movie of a musical in the big theatre just doesn't cut it We were blown away with the activities and entertainment on Princess. Princess also has Medallian Class on some of their ships. It is an incredible device that you wear instead of carrying a room card. You download the Medallian app for check in, order drinks or a meal from it and a server will find you. Also as you approach your cabin your door will unlock and lock when you walk away. We are coming back to Princess now. Just loved being on the Royal Princess ship. Read Less

This is our second 14 day B2B cruise on Princess in the past year. We chose this ship specifically because of the "adults only" space on Deck 17. This area makes you feel like you are on a cruise that costs twice as much. The Retreat Pool and Cabanas and the Sanctuary is the best space we have experienced on any of the 18 cruises we have taken. You feel like you are the only people on the ship. Alice and her service staff are amazing. This area fills up fast and you cannot make reservations until you get on the ship. So arrive early - 9-10 am get ready to board and once on board go DIRECTLY (Run not walk)to the Sanctuary Deck 17 forward. Look for the Sanctuary sign and go to the desk or stand in line - Chose Pool Cabanas for the Port Days - if you are staying on the ship- and book Sanctuary seating for Sea Days which tend to be more windy. The Pool Cabanas furthermost from the Bar are the shadiest. In the sanctuary the front row forward are the best. Price is $50 per 1/2 day for Cabana by the retreat pool or $20 pp per 1/2 day for the Sanctuary. The Lumiere Dinner is not to be missed. Again as soon as you get onboard - find a ship phone and use the dining line to book the dinner. Do not wait - it sells out quick. My husband raced up to the Sanctuary and I found a phone and in less than 30 minutes we had reserved everything and then ordered our first drink. I had 3 spa services - I highly recommend that you meet your service provider in advance before you book your treatment. I highly recommend Henja she is great. Book online before you go and save on port days. Medallion is great for overall on/off ship - but the "get a drink anywhere -and we will find you" does not work well. St Thomas was are favorite port -Stop by Frenchtown Brewery and eat dinner at Oceana Restaurant. Get the Lobster!! The Crown Grill was great - Za Za will take great care of you. Be sure to sign up for the Tuscan Wine Tasting! Great Value! The embarkation and disembarkation was quick, easy and drama free. Have booked the Sky Princess for Jan 2021! Read Less

We wanted to try out the new Majestic Princess and it went further than we had travelled from Australia so very appropriate choice and exciting for my husband and I. The ship is well organised and caters for all ages and cultures both in their activities and food choices. We chose a Mini-suite and had an outstanding cabin stewardess who looked after us well. In fact, she went over and above her role and we were impressed at her efficiency. The Dining rooms were well serviced, quick and efficient, friendly and entertaining. We were impressed by how the activities were based around different cultures including Australia Day and Chinese New Year. The service in all areas was efficient and helpful. Most of the Ports and Shore excursions were enjoyable and well organised. We enjoyed the more traditional cultural villages and ceremonies. Loved interacting with the children in their uniforms at schools. Read Less

Princess puts on one HELL of a show for an entire week. We cruised the Regal Princess, had 3 stops to Princess Cays, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Everything was top quality, from the service to the food (so much to eat!!) to the entertainment. The balcony stateroom was very clean, and the room attendant cleaned it twice a day. The Medallion is a great part of the cruise, no cash or credit card needed, makes checking in/out such a simple process, and even opens your cabin door (no key card needed). I would recommend to anyone who is looking to be pampered for a week, no worries about anything, and enjoy a huge selection of events throughout the week, from morning to late night. Watching full length movies at night "under the stars" on the theater-sized screen on the top deck was a delightful experience. The Staff (from the stateroom attendant to the waiters in dining room) is fantastic, always pleasant and making sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. If you get a chance to sail with Princess, I give it 2 HUGE thumbs up! The Regal is more of an older-crowd (seniors/retirees) and we are in our 40's, but didn't make a difference. We still met some younger and older couples and had a great time! Read Less
