Wife is a Vegan and thought the food selection was poor compared to the 40 plus other cruises she has sailed. I found the food selection fine but the taste just average. The Italian specialty restaurant was excellent for me but not for my wife as there were no vegan opportunities. They did try hard to prepare a pasta dish for her and she found it to be OK.
Buffet service above average.

I wanted to go on this cruise because of the location AND the chance to see a rare Annular Solar Eclipse in the China Sea.

This ship was renovated in 2018 but it was not well done at all. The green carpet around pools looked dated and was always soaking wet. Pool furniture was also dated and tired looking. Carpets around ship all looked quite new but beyond that it seems Princess spent very little on this renovation. Balcony rails are very chipped and ship was very rusty looking. Made for an inexpensive front for a back to back. Upon arrival at pier found staff to be rude and demanding when I requested to carry my bag onboard with me.
LACK OF SINGLES ACTIVITIES! The first single get together was nonexistent as no cruise activity staff bothered to show up.
