Whither Cruising?

I love to snorkel and the itinerary was ideal for that. I also wanted to see what a new years cruise was like. Could a boat with 4000 passengers deliver what I expect of a cruise? The Regal Princess is rated as 5 star boat. Depending on what you expect from cruising, it is not. It is an early example of the boats being ordered by the major cruise lines. They are designed to increase ...

We had an exceptional cruise on the Regal Princess. She is a beautiful ship and the crew was terrific, almost as if they were handpicked. The Cruise Team was fun and quite visible. The ships entertainment was extraordinary and way above that of any other cruise ship which is what made this cruise exceptional, and we have cruised on well over 150 ships. The choreography and timing of the dancers ...

Really like Christmas cruises and cost was affordable. Christmas decorations were beautiful as was Christmas music, Christmas dinner, and even Santa with a wrapped gift for all the children. Wifi is greatly improved, and free if you’ve sailed more than 15 times. BRAVO show is absolutely outstanding, should be expanded and sent to Broadway. Every event was fun, well planned and organized. Ship ...

We did the eastern caribbean cruise over Christmas 2017. Was our 3rd with Princess. The ship is amazingly beautiful! We found the food and service to be excellent, both in the buffet and the dinning room. Our cons were... the balcony is so tiny.. 2 chairs and a tiny table.. you about are knee to knee!!! Really small for the amount you pay for a balcony. Ou other con was disembarkation... was ...

i was pleasantly surprise for a ship of this size that the embarkation and disembarkation went so well . Our cabin was always spotless . Our steward Renante did a great job and always with a smile . On the buffet , their was different choice of food and it was tasty . At night , we had the open dining . It was better to make reservation if you did not want to wait .Once again , the food ...

Being at one time a travel agent, i'm always looking at services on board. I have to say that the personnel on the ship were nicer at times than the paying clients! My family and I had 2 cabins on Dolphin Deck, 507/509. Our cleaning lady for both cabins was EXCELLENT. . Her name was ROWENA MANAOL ACCOM. If either cabin needed something she would provide for us. Several times she had to call ...

Background Information This trip was one of those last-minute things, booking our cruise on November 1 for the December 18 sailing. Big props for our Princess agent who we have worked with for three of our five Princess/Cunard cruises. We sailed on the Regal Princess and had a great time. Our group consisted of myself and my husband. We didn't explore Ft. Lauderdale as we've departed several times from there with Princess in the past. Both embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Our cabin was D730 which is an aft facing premium deluxe balcony. We LOVED this stateroom! I was very anxious previous to the cruise due to ...

Have been wanting to do the southern Caribbean for a long time. Have taken Princess many times and we are always satisfied. This cruise hit some of the islands we have always wanted to see. 6 islands in 10 days was a bit much since the 6 islands were in 6 days in a road. It would have been nicer if there were some days at see amongst the islands. Shipboard entertainment was a bit short in ...

Chose this cruise for relaxation and the itinerary. Disappointed in the embarkation procedure, with technology today there should not be a reason to stand in long lines, even with elite status. The ship itself is fairly new, cabins well laid out and roomy. The dining started a downward spiral. On a gluten free diet. Their procedure is to have the guest preorder dinner in the dining room a day ...
