Lots of space, no lines, great crew!

Review for Regal Princess to Caribbean - Eastern

We sailed to Dominican Republic and Princess Cays on this 5-day cruise. We had cabin C410 (a mini-suite). The two-site snorkel in the Dominican Republic was fun. Even saw a 3’ nurse shark while snorkeling. It was an hour bus ride out, then a catamaran filled only to one third capacity back. Princess Cays actually had the single worst lunch we’ve ever experienced during a cruise (cold ...

I humbly share that as a thirty plus year world-wide vacation traveler, Cruising was not a consideration to me. Yet, as a new entry to this arena of aboard ship vacation cruising, a new horizon has opened for me. The Princess Cruise Line and the magnificent ships, as the Princess Regal, beckon me to look at this industry for inspiration on new adventures. Land based vacations do provide many ...

Fabulous to be back!

We have had 5 cruises canceled since our last cruise. It was wonderful to be back! The Regal is in good shape, and the staff were amazing! The changes were mostly expected. Only fully vaccinated people can cruise, so it was disappointing that one family in our group couldn’t go because their 10 year old couldn’t get the shot in time to cruise. The rest of us got our Covid tests 2 days ...

Great to get back on a cruise ship!

We originally chose this cruise because both ports had scuba diving excursions & figured a shorter cruise was better for getting started cruising again. The crew was so happy to be back to work & made you feel you were very important to them. They cheered all coming on & every one we encountered was wonderful, all wait staff, room stewards, bartenders, etc. This was our 1st time on a ship as ...

I heard more than 1 time from a friend at church, he cruises Princess Cruises frequently and claims that it's the very best cruise line in the world. On November 19 2021, this was our very first cruise experience with Princess Cruises and my wife's (Liliana) 60th birthday present to her. It was truly "unforgettable, fantastic, great, and better than we expected!" From day one to the ...

We only cruise Princess since our first Alaskan trip. We took all 4 of our kids on that one and highly recommend people bring their kids and use the kids clubs. This one was just me and my partner for a quick break. We were only doing the first 7 days - Eastern CARIBBEAN! Despite all the health fears this year, with the information we had at the time, we felt safe to travel at the end of ...

Cruising through Uncharted Waters

The on board experience for my first cruise was great. After talking to seasoned cruisers on board, I found that most preferred Princess Cruise's larger staterooms and variety of activities to those they had experienced on other cruiselines. Our ship was not allowed to dock at the end of our cruise until 2 crew members were tested for the Coronavirus. This meant a whole extra day at sea but the ...

Chose as a Birthday gift for wife and to follow two other family members. Did not see much of anything. All booked excursions were made impossible because if Medical issues on ship causing long delays or medical issues on the Tour itself. Point being the atmosphere during a global virus is not the best. When Staff is not forthcoming about medical issues. Evacuations, transfers of potential ...

Our cruise started off on a great with a speedy embarkation. However, we got to the room & a balcony chair was broken & our tv (multiple times). Then due to a medical emergency, we were delayed leaving princess cay, which then made us late for St. John (the whole reason we booked this cruise was for hiking St. John national park). Princess rebooked but then we were delayed by port authority and ...

We love Princess cruises and especially the Regal. Her crew is fantastic. The crew must be the reason we go back to the Regal. Our latest cruise on the Regal was to St Thomas and St Marten. We have taken this cruise previously and just enjoy being on this ship. We cruise with family and usually book a balcony cabin. On this past cruise, the Regal was not allowed to dock back in Fort ...
