Disappointed

We just returned from a cruise on the Caribbean Princes. We departed Quebec City and ended in NY. Overall, the cruise was very disappointing. Pre-covid we had traveled on two cruises with Princes. These were much better and based on these experiences we booked the cruise in late Sept. of this year. The difference is noticeable. The cruise lines took on huge new debt during the ...

Never again will my wife and i sail on princess cruises. I am age 51, this is my 20th cruise (4 princess, 5 ncl, 4 holland america, 3 carnival, 3 royal caribbean, and 1 celebrity) and this by far was my wife and i's worst cruise experience ever! It did not come close to meeting our expectations. The experience was so poor that while on this cruise we canceled an upcoming 7 day mexican riviera ...

First room smelled like sewage so we did not even unpack. Was moved to room the air didn’t work. Then they moved us to the Covid-19’s and isolation section. Did not say a word about being isolated section we just kept seeing more and more doors blocked red stickers on doors. Why would you place at risk seniors in the middle of an isolation section. Is this not elder abuse. I ask if the CDC ...

When did Princess Cruises get so bad?

This was my family’s first post pandemic cruise, and we went with our extended family. We had high expectations for this cruise as it was my in-law’s 30th cruise with Princess and up until this point, Princess was one of their favourite cruise lines, and they’ve been on a lot of cruises! The Medallion app they so proudly market only works, maybe, half the time. We were told to complete all steps ...

What a Disappointing First Post Covid Cruise

I really wanted to enjoy this cruise. I did. To be honest, my family and I had a great time and enjoyed each other's company in our first family vacation since the bulk of the pandemic has (hopefully) in the rear view mirror. What brings folks together is often a common problem - in this case the cruise line, staff, and food. Embarkation and Debarkation were well oiled machines. Well ...

First off there was nothing to do unless you are a trivia person and you need another useless bag or wine stopper that gives free advertising for the princess line. The Caribbean Princes was dirty my room had used bandages stuck to the balcony door handle. The computer system allowed my computer to get three viruses and even if you want to use your own server then leave your computer at home they ...

I consider myself a seasoned traveler with 6 million air miles, hundreds of hotel says and 15 cruises on 5 cruise lines. I have never written a review before because things happen on any trip and you just have to deal with it. This year my wife and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and our 70th birthdays. We were looking for something special - a trip that would provide us with a great ...

Ruined 70th birthday

We chose this particular Nova Scotia cruise because of the itinerary and a particular excursion with a well known photographer which was ultimately cancelled and we were not told until the last minute. So on my 70th birthday we did not have an excursion. The ship knew a week ahead. The Spa had a hard upset after a mediocre massage. Specialty dinning was a joke on my birthday, the food quality was ...

We have been traveling since 1995 by Princess cruise line only except one time in 2001 we took a celebrity cruise . We hated celebrity cruise experience that year so we only use Princess for over 16 cruises now. We chose this cruise because of the ports visited . The embarkation process was the best this time . As soon as we got into our Balcony cabin on 14th floor, we wanted to get out because we ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Boarded the ship on Oct.1, and were met with a sewage smell that was horrible. Upon getting to the mini suite, D231, the door wouldn't open and I was locked out of the room, 1hr later they were able to get the door open. Move the bags in and found out that the toilet wasn't operational, this lasted for three days, no toilets in what they called "Zone 2" which is about the whole forward starboard ...
