We picked this cruise because of the timing and location - early August in an area that is not too hot at that time of year. We stayed at a hotel in Quebec City the night before the cruise began - that gave us a little more time to see this charming city.

Their team is incompetent and excels in" customer service non service". We chose this cruise since I have always wanted to go to Quebec City and we thoroughly enjoyed that French-speaking port. We had good weather--in fact in was hot in Quebec City. We are frequent Princess Cruisers and booked this ship and itinerary with a few friends, this one beginning in Quebec City, ending in New York. The plan originally was for my husband and I to rent a car and drive to Quebec City, but Air Canada had $99 fares, too good to pass on. Great itinerary, Unfortunately, bad weather kept us from stopping at 2 ports.
It appears as if there is NO heating on board. Cabins and public areas were below 70 (and sometimes even in the 50'S). Complaints to the staff elicited sympathy but no relief.
Stop In NY was shorter than others. A pity, since there was more to do and the ship was docked in Brooklyn!

Looking for a way to see parts of Canada we had not seen and perhaps to get a glimpse of color, we chose the last cruise of the season from Quebec to Ft. Lauderdale. It was advertised as a Fall cruise to see the colorful foliage and experience the European ambiance of eastern Canada. It was scheduled way to late in the year. The Canada/New England colors were breathtaking. This was perfect timing and we really loved the trees.
The ship missed two ports due to weather and we were very disappointed, especially Bar Harbor. However, we were compensated with $25...SERIOUSLY!
