This was our 4th cruise with Princess (P&O twice and 1 Celebrity) and sad to say, the worst one. The ship itself is lovely, slightly different in so much as no late night top bar, which we missed. I will summarise below on the plus's and minus's
Cabin - Nice but balcony was smaller than the ones we have had on previous cruises. Our patio door had to be lifted and pulled open, we did report ...
My husband and I have cruised several times, including four times on Princess. This one was one of the best. Beautiful new ship - everything clean and in good condition. Room steward and other staff were friendly and efficient. The ship was only at about 60% occupancy, so perhaps that explains the excellent service, but there was rarely a wait for anything.
Check-in was quick and easy. Our ...
My third time on this ship, this time from New York to Quebec. Ship has not aged well. Elevators out of service for months, thermostat in room broken - took 3 days to fix. Medallion had to be replaced 3 times. No maple syrup or real horseradish on the ship. Not only is there not traditional dining, you have to remember who you gave your special dietary order to the night before - really? When ...
This was my first time sailing with Princess. Having been on many other cruise lines, I had heard Princess was a notch above the rest, so my expectations were high. Below is a detailed list of all the pluses and minuses of the cruise I was.
1) The ship was beautiful and there were definitely enough elevators and dining venues. While you still had to wait for an elevator, using the stairs ...
This was my first Princess cruise in almost 3 years (due to the pandemic). I found it to mostly be similar to my pre-pandemic cruises, but with a few disappointments. My husband and I were traveling with my cousin, who is immunocompromised due to being treated for cancer. So, some of our choices were made with safety foremost in our minds. But my husband and I are both in our 70's, so we ...
This was our first cruise since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. It was great to be back at sea. Overall, this was one of our best cruises because of the perfect weather. If only the ship had been equal to mother nature.
BACKGROUND: My wife and I are seniors. In 2019 we booked an inside stateroom on the Sky Princess for this New England/Canada voyage for 2020. It was cancelled ...
We booked this cruise to see fall foliage and explore stops we have not been to. We stayed in a Vista Suite forward S109. The ship was in perfect condition, the staff were very friendly and fun. Food was very very good. We ate in two specialty Restaurants, Crown Grill and Sabatini's. Both excellent. The Club Class dining was fab as was our servers. We had lunch in buffet a few times and it ...
Summary first: In short, we had value for money even with the added cost of the Premium package as we could drink proper champagne and ‘Whispering Angel’ Cotes de Provence rose wine throughout the voyage. There were some positives but also negatives with this cruise such that we wouldn’t book a Princess cruise again.
The cabin was excellent (mini suite) with a very good layout having the sofa ...
We were looking for a cruise that we would not have to fly to during this time of airport congestion and talk of losing luggage and cancelled flights. We are from Canada and can drive to NY so we choose this itinerary along with the fact that the ship is new and the 5 ports makes for a busier cruise which we like. We were lucky that the weather turned out to be great for us as the hurricane ...
This was our first New England and Canada cruise, although we have cruised many times.
The ship is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are always helpful, polite and friendly.
Food in dining room was excellent and buffet food was good with a good variety.
Entertainment was brilliant. The production shows were amazing. The musicians in orchestra and bands were very good and provided ...
