The Regal Princess is the last ship on which we cruised. We had a balcony stateroom and I was really impressed with the closet space and shelving. Watching Love Boat on tv was fun. Food on Princess is consistently fabulous. Alternatives to the dining room are equally primo. The pool area was great, especially the big screen to watch sports and movies. The crew were great. We enjoyed the casino and trips available at ports. As always, not even this ten nighter was long enough. Being quite social animals, my wife and I loved the group seating in the dining room. We met very interesting people. The pool experience was like a private party. We had so many great laughs. The regal is a gorgeous ship that we could easily navigate. It was a truly perfect vacation that we would repeat in heartbeat! Getting on and off this is smooth. We had no long lines each time. This makes a big difference in an opinion is a cruise company. We traveled with 3 other couples (all of us 60 and over) on the October 11th Northbound Canada and New England cruise. Embarkation and Debarkation were the easiest and quickest we have ever had. Staff were pleasant and helpful with our luggage arriving well before dinner. We enjoyed the food, entertainment and the unexpected Fjord cruise we took when we could not dock at one of the ports. My husband and I had booked an Accessible cabin with a balcony and we had rented a power scooter from Special Needs at Sea. I am happy to report that the ship is well designed and there are very few places that the scooter could not access. The only time I was unable to use the scooter on shore was when we tendered. Even the tour buses had space to store the scooter between stops. Our cabin developed a water leak in the ceiling the second night out at about 3am. My husband contacted customer service and we had a representative from the service desk, an engineer and a plummer in are room within minutes. We were offered a different room with a balcony but it was not accessible (and I needed the ADA shower and room for the scooter). The plumber worked on the leak and was satisfied that it was fixed. We finally were able to get back to bed about 5am. Just in time to get a couple of hours before getting up for an early tour. Everything was great that day and we had a night of undisturbed sleep. On the 4th night, the leak was back again at about 2:30am. A representative and engineer again came to our room. We were offered the same cabin option as on night 2 and when we politely declined were informed that a note would be made that we declined the offer of another cabin. My husband again verbalized (a little stronger this time) that we needed an accessible cabin. The engineer provided us with a bucket to catch the drips and said that they would come in the next day to fix the leak. The next day when we came back from our tour, my husband went down to talk to the service desk. One of the supervisors heard him talking to one of the representatives and came out to talk to him. He told my husband that he recognized the cabin number and that he had another cabin alternative for us. It so happened that a passenger that had booked an accessible window suite had not boarded so we were free to move into it for the remained of the cruise. He even had one of the housekeeping staff assist us with moving. The suite was nice, the location convenient and we were appreciative of the move. We made sure that the housekeeping supervisor and the service desk staff knew how pleased we were. The only rub to the move was that our new room steward seemed to want us to feel that we really didn't belong there. He was very cool, distant and seemed agitated when we would ask for anything. The cruise was fun, we had a good time and everyone (except our steward for the suite) was friendly, helpful, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We will be cruising with Princess again soon. A few bumps in the road here and there are to be expected I guess. Read Less
