Amazing experience - how to make someone feel extra special

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Discovery Princess

To be remembered, made my day - totally unexpected. Last week my wife and I boarded the Discovery Princess in LA for a four day cruise with around 3,000 other passengers. A year ago we sailed on the same ship on its maiden voyage for a four day cruise to Vancouver, so we knew the layout of the ship as as we boarded last week we headed straight to one of the restaurants for lunch. We joined the ...

I’m writing this review because i wanted to say that my 3 servers were amazing. Nanna from thailand, Gary from Philippines, and Mauro from Columbia. They were amazing waiters and they told me if I wrote a review they would be able to get a promotion. I really hope they get their promotion. I think they really deserve it. They were wonderful. They made eating meals super fun and they were just so ...

We had an amazing cruise on the Diamond Princess! I would sail on her again and recommend the ship to anyone!

I read a lot of negative reviews on the Diamond Princess recently, so I went into this cruise with managed expectations. That being said, I had an amazing cruise with very little criticism. This was a 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise to Loreto, La Paz and Cabo San Lucas. Our Loreto port was canceled due to high winds, so we rerouted to Mazatlán for our first stop. SHIP REVIEW: This ...

Mini Review Discovery Princess January 21-28, 2023 Mexican Riviera We are Darren and Cindy from Great Falls, Montana. We are in our 50’s and regularly cruise on both Princess and Celebrity. We left Great Falls, Montana on Friday, January 20 in a Blizzard. I am glad the Alaskan Airlines plane took off to Seattle, then a connection to LAX. All was on time. We stayed overnight ...

I went on this cruise as a precursor to going on the Grand Princess to Alaska. I am taking some friends with us to Alaska and wanted to see how these older ships compare to the newest ones, and the Diamond happens be in the older category. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well maintained the Diamond is. My last Princess cruise was on the Royal 3 years ago and though it was one of the newer ...

We tend to be Princess Cruisers. I like the Mexican Riviera because it's warm and Friendly. We travel from SLC so getting to the LA port is not a big issue. The Discovery is a new ship and was fun to sail on. Embarking was quick and easy. We dropped off our carry-on in the room which was not quite ready, but accessible. There was the normal Buffet and midship entertainment to welcome people. ...

My wife and I previously travelled on the Discovery Princess to Alaska in October 2022, and found the vacation to be especially enjoyable - See review "Exceeded All My Expectations", so we decided to sail again this time on a Mexico itinerary in January of 2023. We again booked the same S4 suite R616 and saw many of the same faces on board. The ship sailed with 3308 passengers which was ...

We selected it for a family cruise, and it could not have been a better choice. The upgrades on the ship were well thought out, all those who served us did an outstanding job. The Medallion app worked out so well from embarkation, throughout the cruise, and disembarkation. The ports, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas worked out well in that order. Having 2 sea days at the ...

Great 14 day trip on the Island Princess

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I wanted to go from Port Everglades to LA through the Panama Canal's historic locks. The Island Princess was the perfect size. I wanted 'sea days', and with only 4 port days, this itinerary was perfect. I'm in my 60's and took my adult daughter. It was my 4th time with Princess. 21st cruise on 8 different cruise lines. We were sailing a 14 day leg of their ...

I am a person who books their cruises a year or more in advance but I decided about 3 months before Christmas that I wanted to take a 4 or 5 day cruise the week before Xmas. I am glad I did. I am a solo cruiser and I booked an Accessible Oceanview on Deck 17 and it was one of the best cabins I have ever had. Huge is the only way to describe it, quiet but easy to get to and with the largest window ...
