I chose this cruise since another cruise line didn’t have showers, but a high step into tubs n showers. Embarkation was easy and no waiting around like my last cruise with Princess. Also Disembarked was as smooth this time around. I give them 5Stars grades. The ship just came out of being rehab and is looking so improved since my last time aboard her. Our cabin wasn’t very clean. I ...

We live in Los Angeles and wanted a Cruise we could drive too. Left our house in Encino and was on the ship one hour later. The service on the ship was a 10. All staff was very helpful and smiled. The ship was clean and crew always making it look spotless. The food in the Horizon was much better than the reviews we read previously. Enjoyed it for breakfast and late snacks. If I have to ...

Kelly’s first cruise

Kelly and I had a great time. I’ve cruised before and it was Kelly’s first time. The cruise staff was great. Our cabin steward Joel could not have been any nicer. We got to experience the new dinner menu, which was outstanding. The breakfast and lunch in Horizon was good. The worst part was trying to find an available table. We became art collectors onboard. Dylan the art Director was ...

Nice relaxing way to Hawaii. 10 sea days, may not be for everyone, but very relaxing. Just fantastic enrichment activities with Lecturer Sharon, on the volcanic, flora, whales, etc. Tiki Dave and his wife were amazing. played and Ukelele classes (ship has some , but may need to bring one. his wife did Hula lessons and Lei making. Final night, an incredible Uk and Hula show from fellow cruisers. ...

We wanted a longer cruise, as we love the days on the water. The ship was lovely, especially enjoy the atrium, Music was offered several times a day in several areas, we enjoyed it in the atrium especially. The International Café on deck 5 is a true plus for Princess line. You can get choices of Panani sandwiches and desert offered 24/7. The days at sea offer many options for your pleasure. ...

Fabulous Luxury Aboard the Emerald.

We selected this cruise because I wanted to have a string of at sea days to relax and enjoy the ship. Princess cruises have fabulous itineraries and our cruises have been dedicated to touring the ports on other cruises leaving scant time for enjoying the ship itself. Princess is a favorite because it is a cruise liner in the traditional sense. No mountain climbing or amusement park at sea. ...

Having just completed a New Year trip from hell on P&O Azura along with 2,000 drunk brits we hoped we would that it would not be emulated by noisy drunk Americans and it wasn't. From the start our fellow passengers were polite well mannered charming people from all over the USA enough to make me feel ashamed to be British. Everything on the Emerald was right including an eclectic and ...

Great Hawaii cruise

We chose this cruise based on the timing that we wanted. It was a great cruise. The only thing I would say is that electrical outlets by bed are needed for cpap users. The best tension cords had to stretch entire part of room. We had a great cabin steward that brought us extension cords and talked them down to floor. The entertainment was great. We loved the second comedian and the billy ...

Great cruise for first time cruiser

I thought everything on the cruise was great. This was my first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to. The food at the buffet was acceptable. I only ate at the buffet for breakfast. Nothing really spectacular, but nothing was poor either. The only issue I had with the Horizon buffet is finding a seat in the dining area. There are two sides for the buffet, and both sides are really busy ...

First Cruise out of LA - LOVED it! Ruby is a classic with some new upgrades!

This was our first cruise out of a 'pacific' port and we loved it - we will definitely be back. The ease of flying into LA was perfect. We landed, ate breakfast at Planet Hollywood in the International Terminal at LAX (before security) and then took an uber to the port. Embarkation was a breeze - our room wasn't ready so we just explored the ship. Pros: Our cabin D734 was amazing - very ...
