Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Coral Princess

Coral Princess is my kind of ship. The public areas are extensive, comfortable and inviting and there was rarely a crowded feel. We had 8 sea days, and were never bored. Princess had a packed schedule every day and there was always something to do. The food in the main dining room was excellent, varied and beautifully presented. Breakfast in all venues was uninspired but the quality of ...

My husband and I took this cruise through the Panama Canal to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was our 12th cruise, 3rd with Princess. We booked Ezair for the first time as we were flying from Boston to LA on the day of the cruise and it worked perfectly. There were pros and cons with the ship. Pros: Clean ship Friendly staff Wash stations at Horizon Court Silverware ...

My husband and I booked this cruise in December. Due to my precarious health we can only book vacations on shorter notice so we picked an item on our bucket list. Last year was a Tanzanian safari and generally prefer land trips so we can spend more time in an area. We have found cruising to be a great way to explore and get a taste of multiple areas in one trip, thus we cruised the Mediterranean ...

First Cruise Ever

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Royal Princess

Some friends wanted to cruise and invited me along. I have been weary of cruising because I really like traveling to places and thoroughly immersing myself into the culture of the place I am visiting. I did ALOT of research on our destinations prior to the cruise to hit a highlight in each port. I was able to figure out what places I would like to revisit - or not. The ship was beautiful and ...

We really wanted to love Princess. They charge and position their experience on par with other premium cruise lines. Let's not forget that Princess is owned by Carnival. We scored the Royal Princess two stars as a premium cruise ship - if they were a mainline cruise ship we would have scored them with 3 stars. First, items we appreciated: the spa was a good value and was overall a great ...

We lorikeet the Mexico 7 day cruise for the convenience and price. The weather is always perfect and this time the ocean was completely smooth for the entire trip. The ship is giant, the buffet is huge and the crew were all friendly. The new medallion system was interesting but not fully implemented for our cruise. I hope that the new screens and WiFi will help eliminate the excessive paper usage ...

Royal Princess, Mexican Riviera, April 2019 My wife and I are both Elite with more than 280 days on Princess. However, up to this point, our cruises on Princess were all with the smaller to medium-sized ships. The Grand class ships had prior been the largest in the fleet which we had sailed. This was our first cruise onboard Royal Princess and will likely be our last. We have not given up ...

We are both Elite level and have traveled on Princess, Carnival and NCL. We expect excellent service. Unfortunately this is not the case on this ship. There where NO robes in cabin and NO laundry bags had to asked for them from cabin steward on both items. When I looked thru the coupon book that was in cabin found items that had expired in 2018 The food in MDR and Buffet was not good at ...

Except for embarkation the cruise was very well done. The Royal Princess is a beautiful ship in great condition. It did not seem nearly as large as it was. The executive lounge for suites was great. Breakfast in Sabatini’s for suites was great. Club class dining was very good with only one bad experience. We eat early and there was never a wait for a two top. Service was outstanding. For ...

Short 3 day cruise

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Emerald Princess

This was a short 3 day cruise from LA to Vancouver. It is spring break so there were lots of young people and kids onboard, many celebrating special events like birthdays. We dined in both the Crown Grill and Share and the food was great. Service in the main dining room and the food seemed the usual Princes approach. There was concern expressed by someone that since the ship is heading to dry ...
