Beautiful Mexican Riviera but disappointed in the cruise

my group arrived late for embarkation but the crew got us registered and on the ship pretty quickly, we had to carry our own luggage which was a bummer but it was okay especially after I heard from other cruisers that their bags came up missing, I was disappointed in my cabin , I paid for balcony stateroom and my children stayed in an inside cabin which I found to be the same exact size, only ...

Our last Princess cruise

We chose the Panama Canal cruise because it was on our bucket list. The itinerary was great. We felt the cruise was overbooked, understaffed and over priced. Everything on board was pricey - excursions, drinks, photos and shops. Our 2 independent excursions were excellent. The ships excursions were not. The pastries were excellent. The rest of the food did not match the standards we expected ...

We had always wanted to do Mexico and it was the second cruise of our trip making the first was Cuba The bar staff (making the drinks) were very good but the waitress service to the tables and around the pool areas was very bad. We were in a night club area 1 night waiting for the band to come and play, there were about 4 groups of people there. There were 2 waitresses standing in a corner ...

We have sailed at least ten times on Celebrity and decided to try Princess as the dates and the price lined up nicely. To begin, it is an older ship but kept in excellent condition, however, certain structural problems could not be updated due to age. The shower is tiny tiny, and I doubt if anyone weighing over 200 pounds could even fit. They have no chest of drawers for clothing but shelves in ...

This is our 5th Princess cruise and each trip seems to be not quite as WOW as the last. I feel something has been lost with group tipping. Staff were friendly enough but didn't seem to go out of their way. If asked, they were fine. The only Princess shore excursion was to the Hotel California in Todos Santos. Long ride for a very little bit. I was with my mother who is somewhat limited ...

Ruby Princess Christmas Cruise

This cruise was chosen because I my work closes down Christmas week and I was looking for a cruise and the cruises out of Florida were too expensive so I went with this cruise. I had been on two previous Mexican Riviera cruises so I didn't really go for the destination, just to cruise. Embarkation was very easy and we were on the ship by approximately 11:15am. A local Christmas singing quartet was ...

We chose this cruise to travel with friends over holiday and had a great time despite from the fact some in the party got sick! Overall I rated it three because the seafood was the only thing that tasted different.......the soups, salads and most entrees all tasted the same in the traditional dining every night! Lots of processed taste, institutional tastes..........not as fresh as the other ...

we booked our cabin on viewing it on the internet. Balcony mid ship 12th floor. Internet shows the cabin to be larger than normal but we have found out this is not true. Our cabin was clean and bed very comfortable our room Stewart was great. The crew was also very good and friendly. Dinner: not up to Princess standards our meals lacked flavor. one night corn chowder was on the menu and it ...

Captain Michele Tuvo is the best, the very best!!! He was every where, in the dining rooms, buffet, hallways, atrium, talking to passengers and employees, checking on everyone.....Everywhere. The host of the Anytime Dining was also just the best, he knew us by the 2nd or 3rd day. He was just the best. I didn't get his name, but he was from Romania. The most adorable manager of the ...

We chose this cruise as it was cheaper than the NCL for the same itinerary to Mexico etc. Absolutely nothing stood out for us on this cruise as far as the food, entertainment and service. We had been on a NCL the previous year and even though it was full we had a wonderful time. Food was superior, service was top notch, and the entertainment was excellent compared to what we experienced on this ...
