Excellent cruise spoiled by being subjected to age inappropriate piped music everywhere

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Sky Princess

We have always enjoyed Princess and had wanted to see Canada. As usual all staff were wonderful, sunset balcony cabin was excellent. The tours were good value for money and the guides really knew their subjects. Some tours however could have used a bit more time at venues and seemed rushed. Our main complaint is that there is nowhere on the ship to get away from loud music entertainment in the ...

Chose this cruise as never been to Canada and liked the itinerary. So disappointed, this was such a boring ship, never before have I spent so much time in the cabin, luckily they do have a great selection of films to watch. The daytime entertainment was sadly lacking and no ambience onboard. Evening time if you wanted to watch a show you had to arrive at least 30mins early to try and get a seat which ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Regal Princess

We cruised on this same ship - Regal about 4 yrs ago on the Baltic Cruise. The quality of the food and service since then has improved. The dining room dinners were very good - better than 4 yrs ago. The service seemed better too. Our attendants were on the ball. The first cruise on Regal we had mini suite and this time we had mini suite one level higher and one room further forward. The cabin ...

We chose this itinerary as we wanted to do London (5 days prior) and the British isles. We had a standard balcony. It worked for us but I think I prefer the deluxe balcony with a bit more room. Our room steward, Romy, was excellent. The September weather, although pleasantly cool, didn’t lend itself to sitting out on a balcony nor sunbathing. No big deal. We enjoyed the ports especially Cork, ...

My husband and I went on a cruise on The Sky Princess on the 16th of September 2023 for 7 nights from Southampton. We wanted to express our gratitude to all of the staff on this cruise as they were the ones that made our cruise so memorable. Each and every staff member that we came into contact with was incredibly helpful, kind, friendly, attentive, gentle, caring, efficient and just amazing. And ...

Big disappointment for first time cruisers

We have never cruised before but as my mother is getting on in years, it's getting to the stage where we can't do independent travel any more and we were keen to try a cruise where everything is on hand in one place. After much deliberation and deciding not to fly, with limited options we settled on the Princess Sky culinary cruise from Southampton to Guernsey, La Rochelle, Bilbao and La ...

Nice ship, great itinerary, some fantastic staff; but let down by overcrowding, poor dining and some very unmotivated staff

Booked to try out Princess for the first time, had good expectations and the cruise was competitive from IGLU. Overall a very mixed back, the ship is lovely, modern clean and well maintained and it creates a great first impression. But it doesn't last long, the ship is so overcrowded and understaffed that it is impossible to get a seat, a sunbed, or a table unless you get there early and reserve ...

Tried Royal Caribbean (outstanding) and MSC (very good) and although you receive loyalty benefits it seemed tragic not to sample more of what’s on offer out there so here I am on a princess ship , it will be the last time . Nothing terribly wrong with it if you like Butlins, but not one thing I could say was terrific. Embarkation was the worse cruising experience I’ve ever had , Princess you ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary and I have never sailed with Princess before. This was my seventh cruise and I traveled with my husband and my mother. We were in two mini suites on deck 8 starboard. The cabins were absolutely beautiful and our cabin steward, Ale, was the best we have ever had. The food in the main restaurants was excellent much better than we had experienced on both MSC ...

This was our first two week no-fly cruise and it didn't disappoint. The ease of embarkation is a big plus to start with. No hanging about in an airport lounge for your flight to be delayed or worse cancelled. Once you check in your holiday has begun. We especially like that you can take a large suitcase, or many people were taking two each and they arrive t your cabin door. Our balcony cabin was ...
